Will anyone cosplay as them?

Will they sell any merchandise for these bands? I heard they had hide plush dolls last year

There are a few subjects on this in the Cosplay sub-forum. A bunch of us are dress up as the members of L'Arc~en~Ciel from the SMILE lyric book. (Hehe, I know that's not hide or X Japan though.)

aw.. sadness.. everyone always dresses up as the popular bands and popular anime, i'm more interested in people who do something DIFFERENT for a change, and dress up as a less popular anime, video game, or band character.

Oh well. We'll see.

Nevermind that. It'll be interesting to see what bands people dress as.

Do they normally sell band merchandise at cons like this one? I know nothing about cons, this'll be my first.

I don't/wouldn't know. I'd ecpect they would, beacuse Anime and J-rcok almost come hand in hand.
