Got one of Garnet's dress armwarmers beaded. Finished ti about twenty minutes ago; it looks gorgeous and makes me happy. Just got one more then the big beading project; the shirt x.o

Alright I ordered my wig for Trance Kuja and I can't wait for it to get here. I think it is perfect, the way it is styled makes it look like there are already feathers in it :3

THAT IS ONE COOL WIG.

I'm practically done with Chizuru, I just need to make red glasses, get white socks and try out the glue-eyebrow-color-changing technique.

Right now I'm sifting through reference pictures of Saya in the Adagio manga and putting them all together. After I'm done with that I'll do the same for Naoto~

It was actually the idea of a Badou and Nill I met last Monday while standing around reading the menu for Bistro 921 in the lobby. I told them I was doing Bishop for Sakuracon and the Badou told me to make her a camo-print lolita dress with fur trim.

And lo, I will deliver. It'll probably have a fur headdress with checkerboard bows and a stripe of camo down the middle.

Wigs are notoriously hard to dye to black unless it's a very very dark color to begin with.

I'm being proactive! I'm doing heavy duty research on Larxene and organization coats DX Trying to find a pattern is difficult as I want it to look good and don't want to dish out ~$200 for it. xD Else I'd have it made for me. :3

I'm doing an OrgXIII coat for next year. I'm not too worried about the pattern, though; all I need is a good reference. I've made my own patterns before and I've found it works better than when I've used pre-made patterns.

I finished up the under part of trance kuja. I still need to make the back white skirt and the one that goes over the left leg. I need to find some red underwear though =/ I can't get good pictures by myself so I will have my mom take some tomorrow.

I'll have some pictures tomorrow. I need to get some two sided tape to hold part of it up. There is one leg that the top of his thigh is exposed so what I did was cut the front part of the tights off. It is still connected in the back, so I need the tape to make sure it doesn't slip down when I walk.

Neko, you can use and modify a "Neo" coat. His coat, add a hood, flair the sleeves, of course using the right fabric is a good thing. But it'll work for a base.

sooo so far for 2010 i plan on making may (guilty gear) and selphie (ff8) i havnt decied on a 3rd/maskrade cosplay yet. i know i wanna do SOMETHING from sailor moon. i've been considering another costume of usagi's or another villan (seeing how beryl for 09 was so much fun) but no i havent realy started yet (cant till i move) but i was wondering if any one has any good ideas for a base selphie wig and if i should do orange may or a differnt colored one

Alright I finally got some pictures of trance kuja. Nothing is going to change with the right leg, the left leg will have a white leg warmer covering it on the red tight area and the back will have a skirt duster thing hanging off.

ok so turns out finding ref for euphie in that dress is dang ahrd D: im contemplating just buying the box where that art comes in so I can have a good size one xD im gonna have to design the back and ive got a few sketchs already made out :3

as far as the freedom goes? i got one of his legs built, HOWEVER I'm currently on the hunt for the instruction book. I REALLY hope mom didnt throw it out.

Wow, I usuall don't start for another few months xD but, I would like to start early this year, and there is a chance that I'm going to MEW con and maybe Sakuracon...

I got references for Allen, and I searched wigs, and looked up how to make his hand. In a few weeks (after I gain back some money xD) I am going to Joanns for supplies.

I always find that right after a con I'm more motivated to cosplay than at any other time during the year, so I always have like a thousand projects bouncing around in my brain the first few weeks after a convention. Right now, I'm focused on my Edward Elric costume, which will include automail, which I'm about to go start patterning out (the arm that is). I know there are a lot of Eds running around each year, but I'm really enthused to make this costume, and I'm trying to get myself to make the costumes I want to make [/i]for me[/i] instead of my friends. I love making stuff for my friends, but I'm trying to be more courageous and enthusiastic about my own projects.
