Hello K-Con crew;

This is the guy that proposed during closing ceremonies (she said yes squuuueeeee!~) and I was wondering...

Anyone take pictures of this?

I know I requested a few people to be there for this specific reason, but if anyone else took pictures/video of this happening, I would be dearly appreciative of getting a copy/getting them posted here/etc..

And you're quite welcome, I know my partner Andrew Duncan of Photography staff and Spot of the photo room both got photos of that as well but I do not know when they will be up.

Zachery of video staff got some video of it too from what I saw.

You knew right away something was up but you weren't quite sure what;

Me: Why is he telling us his life story....? Wierd....

*Brandon guy starts talking about pink haired girl*

Me: Awww... wouldn't it be cute if they were gonna get married now... *zones out in romantic glee*

*Brandon guy invites pink haired girl on stage*

Me: EEEEEH! HE IS GONNA DOOOO IT!!!! (a really loud stage whisper)
*Ally gets elbowed by friend to shuddup!*

You all know the rest... XD I couldn't help myself... it automatically made it to the top 2 of my
favorite ways to propose... the other is:

The guy gets all the high scores on the girls favorite video arcade game, arranging the high
scores to spell out WIL YOU MAR RRY ME? *Squeals*

Brandon once again Congrats, So are you going to have a Kumoricon Wedding next year? You should have one and hold it in the ballroom. Make it a ticketed event to pay for the food and stuff.

I was at the closing ceremonies, but I didn't take pictures... I didn't know we were allowed to. You know, sometimes people don't like pictures being shot at ceremonies like that...

But congrats to you and your fiancé.

I thought it was completly romantic and nerdy ^^ I thought at first they were getting married, not purposing, but it's just as sweet. I couldn't hear her say yes though since everyone went wild.

By the way - I didn't catch how many he said actually attended. Anybody know?

Yaaay, I just have to tell you that I speak on behalf of me and all of my friends at closing ceremonies when I say thank you for sharing that moment with all of us! It was such an uplifting moment, beyond adorable, and very touching. I was tearing up!!

Congratulations to you and your lady, I have a soft spot for dork love. ^_^ I met a special someone at a con myself. <3

I wish both of you happiness in the years together that lie ahead! <3

I couldn't be there. I had to drive 3 hours to get home, and it's a good thing I did because I wound up sleeping around 8pm that night.

Would have been there, but I was due at the airport for a 3pm flight to DFW (and now I'm in Denver for NDK)...
