I think the Slants are going to be on tour over the Kumoricon. They can't make it this year anyway, but we are going to have Soul Candy perform, and they're great!

It sounds absurd, but she's such a great singer, and she's been doing a lot of US stuff lately. She's performing in San Fransisco soon, and will be at Otakon.

I think it would be great if we had someone like Kevin Connolly (Kain Fuery from FMA and Takayuki Narumi from Rumbling Hearts)
I'm one of his friends that is attending and he said he'd love to come here and is available, but sadly after two emails to the person running the guests of honor he still hasn't had a single invitation. I mean, he's willing to have a voice acting panel for aspiring actors and that'd be a great thing to have, right? And being a voice actor for such a popular show as Fullmetal Alchemist you think people would love to go!

That aside...I think also Aaron Dismuke would be a great person to invite along with Veronica Taylor (Original Ash Ketchum ftw)

I hate to burst everyones bubbles, but I think we're too small of a con to get BIG people like Jonny Yong Bosch. No matter how much I would love him to be there, I think that it might just be a wish.
That is, unless we get a bunch of people to mail him or something, in which case we might be able to get him next year.
Because that would be epic.
And I don't mean to burst the bubbles of people, I'm just not sure whether or not it is even possible for us to get him if we become a giant con.

I agree with soundninja12, we can't have huge voice actors come. JYB, Vic Mignogna and people like that are probably not gonna show up at a smaller than heck convention, I think they'll only come if the con is actually held in a convention center but other than that I think small time voice actors would be able to come, hence why I believe Kevin Connolly should get invited because he's really pumped and wanting to come to Kumoricon since he has no other cons to go to during that time...

Nah..that isn't true at all. I know Vic has gone to smaller cons, because he went to Anime Oasis and they are (purposely) smaller than we are. JYB has been to small cons as well. Plus we had Tiffany Grant back in 2006. I don't work relations so I can't say what all it takes to get a guest, but I would assume it doesn't take much more than paying for their hotel room, airfare, food, etc, stuff like that and the guest wanting to come or not being already booked.

Just take a look at this list: http://www.animecons.com/guests/ and you can see even the big name voice actors do go to small cons.
