Dropping out of a tournament part way through is pretty bad form. In elimination brackets, we can just sub in the last person you eliminated to fill your forfeited slot, but in Swiss it causes significant issues. Since DDR was round robin due to low registration, I did make an exception where Will, who had something going on at 8 that he wanted to go to, just got all 7 of his matches out of the way right away. Obviously, this put him at a disadvantage because he had to play 16 or 17 songs in a row, but it let him play the full tournament.
