Okay, I've noticed a lot of Avi's and Bans, that, quite frankly, I'd love to know more about. So I was thinking...we could talk about them, and clear up some things....like, I just saw the cutest character on an avatar, but I have no clue what the series is...so I was thinking, this would be a good place to discuss such things, (and maybe make some more fans of a few less circulated anime, based purely on aesthetic value of the characters, but hey....)

Anyway, I'll start. My current one is Vincent Valentine, from Final Fantasy VII, and he's basically a 'secret' character, that by now....isn't that much of a secret anymore. heh. He's also the main character in Dirge of Cerberus, and a supporting character in the upcoming Advent Children movie. XD

Well, Anyway, Mine's Mint from Galaxy Angel. o-o; I didn't even know (haha.) untill my friend Lauren pointed it out to me. D: That's a little sad...
I have a bunch of Avatars, most of them are Serial Exprements Lain, Totoro or some other just Anime-looking girls.

mine isn'[t really anything that speical. its simply the japanese characters for "okurimono" where my screen name came from. bonus info: its means gift and I chose it as my irl name always means gift(not exactly but close).

I'm thinking of changing my avatar though with something else from the comic or one of my own drawings if I ever decide to sit down and color one of them.

Um, don't use a banner. I don't have anything against them, I just don't know what to, um, "banner." Instead, I just put in little quotes I hear or think of. Currently, I have:
"We found a n00b, may we flame him?"
"How do you know he is a... ah sure, go ahead."

Lately, I've been thinking of changing that too. Ever since I say that, I've been a bit of a geek and thinking of different situations mixing Monty Python and computers.

Gotta respect the Onizuka, man. I was happy that it was shown at Sakuracon on CCTV (Except that I dislike the dub....ALOT).

Mine is Kurosaki Ichigo from Bleach. I did some editing to the regular image, and viola, instant singularity.

Yeah, the dub is total garbage. I mean you have David Lucas doing the voice for Onizuka and that guy does voice work for pretty much EVERYTHING. It is like it is Onizuka, but with Spike's voice. :?

my is G.I.R. from invader zim, from an episode where a lady selling mak-up knocks on the door zims robo mom atacks her and gir runs off say wait i need stuff and comes back wearing make-up, the quote is from my holy grail of try to find anime, unico aired on disny back in the 80s and we recorded it, but my borther lost them ( :evil:) melvin is trying to talk a wizard into not turing him into a doll stachu (so an evil puppet can make a living castle out of them) the whomper is a frog the tweeter is a bird

My banners... I am a Sailor Uranus freak, and they came with the avatar. The quote on one of the banners is a line from her Sailor MoonS poem. I really liked it and asked Hikaru to put it on for me... ^_^ <3

Well, I kinda doubt anybody was wondering about my avatar, but if you were, it's just an avatar-ized version of a picture by an amateur Japanese artist I found on Tinami. In the full shot he's holding a bazooka shaped like a telescope.

It's such an anachronistic mix of elements. I love it.

As for my sig... it's Chiyo-chan's cooking song from the very first episode of Azumanga Daiyoh. If you haven't seen Azumanga Daiyoh yet, you should do so.

Go ahead and watch the first episode to see where the song came from... and I bet you'll be hooked and want to watch the rest, too.

Hrm...if you want a ragnarok online banner, then a few of the animated gifs (of whatever characters you feel appropriate, and possibly a picture of one or two of the backgrounds....)

my avatar is simply my nick in kanji(although, I'm missing an o in my name. it should be "okurimono"). as for the sign.......I explained that in another thread(say something about person before). what I like about pic best is looking at seto and misaki in the background of the picture. Seto(along with misaki, and sasami/tsunami) is one of my fave characters of tenchi muyo.

steff brought it up in jpn class and when its "mashoo makes it the cat will be eaten, the hiragana for "o" is still wrong tho, any who i didn't have room for my unico quote so i changed it to one from the last unicorn
