Too red?
« on: August 03, 2009, 02:01:56 pm »
Ok so yesterday I was styling my wig, and after awhile of looking at my wig I began to notice that it is quite red....
So yeah...do you think my Kaoru wig is to red? (Kaoru from Ouran high school host club)

:-\ I think it might be... It's all up to you though.

Some of us may not know what character you are talking about. It would probably be best to post a reference picture so we can give more opinions.

I'm assuming this is the Kaoru you mean? (Ouran High School Host Club)

Yes, it is a bit too red, but with the outfit and style it is pretty obvious who you are going for. I don't think it matters that much. Plus, you've already styled the wig, right? If you really want to make it more accurate, then go ahead and get another wig at some point, but for now it will certainly do. ^^

Its too dark in general, I think the whole thing needs to be lighter. But I agree with everyone else it is too red.

I think it looks fine, actually. The color might be off, but it looks good on you. Remember that the transition from Anime to real life is different, and the color in the Anime might be hard to find, and it might look really weird on you because you're an actual human, and you have a different skin tone, as well as facial structure.

and when doing cartoon characters often there is a choice between too light or too bright, i slide towards bright because it seems more cartoony
