This thread is for a recently started cosplay group in Central Oregon. We are High Desert Cosplay! Doozo yoroshiku!
Our mission? To get together as a small, local group and hang out and have fun!

Rules:
1) Must be a resident of Central Oregon
2) We shall have no more than 12 members, but will hover around 10
3) You -MUST- be committed to the group. What does this entail? You must make meets, unless you have a good reason (Just tell Cyprus or myself) and you must participate in skits/group activities. I'm going to have to say this is our most important rule of the three.

If you did not read in the lost thread I came up with a name for the group but we would need everyone to agree ofcourse
but i was thinking "Just 4 the LAWLZ"
I mean it fits us perfect if you think about it

Sorry, my internet sucks, and I hate it with a fiery passion.
I like Just for Lawls, it's very us.
Another good one would be "Because we were bored" because we all manage to say that a bunch.
Or, if we have like shirts or something (I know someone who does silk screening, maybe that could be a possibility) we could have that on the back.

Pat, you have put yourself in a great position.
We can't let our prez not come to the Kumoricon this year.
Now we must find a way to get you there.
I'll try and see what I can do to find you a room, if you can't stay with Griff.

My friends names are Erin and Martha, and I thought Martha's name evolved in to cannibal, but whatever.

I guess I would be a sort of temporary member. I'm really only in Bend for the summer and next summer I'll be interning at a hospital somewhere so I really can't to commit to anything beyond this summer. So I would love to hang out with people over the summer and at kumoricon but after that I'll be gone.

I guess I'm a member for life than :p

I'm going into vascular technology, which is using ultrasound to look at people veins and arteries and sometimes hearts. I think it's tons of fun being able to see inside people and being able to see how things are working.

Honestly, I'd like to keep a simple name, as said
T-Shirts would be nice, we could make our catch phrase "'Cuz we were bored"
Put it on the back. Be awesome.
I picture our shirts being a blue color, with some logo on the left breast, with our name and what not. All official looking and what not
Then the back would have our name and catch phrase.

Just my idea. Lemme know what you all think. ^^

I'll talk to my Dad, he can contact shirt people.
So, what are we going to do?
Cake on a plane (I know a lot about them, because I applied to be in it) has it so you have to get online for an online meeting every sunday over IM, and if you don't warn them that you can't make it twice in a row, then you're kicked out. I have a feeling that we are much less serious about this, and that our meetings will be in person instead of online.
Do we want them to be weekly, or every other week?
During the school year (we are planning to do this in the school year too, right?) Pat has class late on mon - thurs and obviously, I am in normal High School hours. I'm assuming most people will be on my (sort of) Schedule, so friday seems like our best option for a consistent day to meet. Because I don't want to spend my weekend with you guys (I do have a life... sort of), that's what I'd prefer.
We need rules. Not strict ones, just simple ones that make us feel a little bit more like a cosplay group.

I like your idea Pat, it sounds great to me. ^.^
What kind of logo? Any ideas? Maybe something manga drawn, but what...?

p.s My Dad has a button machine, so we could make buttons (like pins) temporarily before we make shirts.

Ok so the names up for grabs are "Cuz we were bored" and "Just 4 the lawls".
As for the school year I only have classes Mon and Wed so any other day I should be good.
Rules... Ya idk we will have to set a date so we can get it all taken care of. How about the 10th or 11th of this month or the next week after that??? And remember this will be a MEETING so we may or may not do something after. depends how everyone acts lol

that's what were planning on doing, right?
I do like the white mage's costume. Nice and simple. Plus no wig, unless I want one. No thanks, I'm doing all wigs this year, and I only plan to use one next year, and only because it's necessary.
( I do hope I can stick to the characters I want to be now. lol, they're all from Final Fantasy)

10th I'm taking Cam to audition for Evil Dead the Musical, I might audition for something myself, doubtful though. I don't sing lol.

Anyway: I vote we keep our current name. I really like something official sounding. More...upscale I guess. Maybe...IDK...Nihon XF? (XF would be short for Cross-Fire, Nihon is Japan in japanese, duh)

My FF Job would be...Black Mage.

Would be Thief but, I'm too fat XD

Yeah, I do have my car back btw. They were underneath the seat brackets, normally unreachable unless you know what you're looking for. apparently my dad did >_>

Irene doesn't know what she wants to do. I'll email her the page, and let her choose. I just sort of dubbed her as a black mage. She's the only one of us skinny enough to be a dancer (AKA there are 2 girls, one's fat, the others skinny. The skinny one should be the dancer, 'cause it has no stomach), so that's what I want to dress her up as.
OMG! I want to be a time mage! That would be intense! I LOVE THEIR HATS!
