Ok so the deadline has been extended till the day before Kumoricon, After that just come to the pre meet. Thank you
Oh and were trying to get at least 50 or people to join. So please tell your friends! Spread the word of the fashion show ^_^
Ok so it's official the Cosplay Fashion Show is a go!

BangBangNeko which us, will be hosting a cosplay fashion show on Sat in the main events room. Time is still being worked around, but if you'd like to join GO RIGHT AHEAD!!. The cosplay fashion show is open to any level, any age and any kind of cosplay(comics,video game,movies, t.v shows, OCs, anything is welcomed). Just fill out the form below and email it to bangbangneko@yahoo.com you can bring it to the pre meeting ^_^
There will be prizes ( cheesy prizes but still prizes lol)
So if you have any questions go right ahead and ask them, will be happy to answer them. ^_^ Hope to see many cosplayers, because we want this event to grow and become a OFFICIAL event next year.

~Map out~

Ok well here is a rough layout of what the area will be like. We don't know officially about the stage and seating, because at the meeting they told us their still working on that. So here is what we think it'll be like after talking to Jaki.

Blue area; The pre meeting location and back stage. At 11:00 report here, but please be aware were going to be sharing the space with another meeting till 11:30. So we'll have to stay quiet till there done.

Black area; Is the stage and door we're going to be using for people to get on stage and off.

Red ling: will be a runway area (hopefully) through the seating area. So once your done posing on stage, you'll be walking over and down the runway. This will help people in the back see your wonderfully costumes, fashions, or whatever. lol

Bright purple; Is the seating of audience.

White dots; The places your going to spot for posing.

Will you have different categories?

I know people, myself included, who do original versions of characters, and I thought that there could be two different categories: original costume (what the char. actually wears), and designers costume (an original design for a character). That just seems more like a fashion show, to me.

Just throwing out ideas!

One person could walk on and then another comes running on and doing something, and then both walking off. Make it sort of a skit.
Or you could just walk on sepreatly, do a pose together at the end (could possiblly have a larger area at the end of the "runway") and then walk off.

And Maji, I like your smexy Roy, and you could do a lot with him with this!

lol We're really laid back, we just want people to check in with us just so we know where people are when we call them. So we don't have drama and have to waste time looking around.

We're having music based off of what kind of genre the costumes are and at the beginning we have a announcer read of the info sent in as the cosplayers walk and interact with the crowd.

If it the one on the forum, yes I did. As for brock I would like one just so we can announce things as the two of you walk. But they don't have to fill out now if they don't want to, they can fill it out at the pre meet.

Yes you may bring as many people as you like, just be sure to get there early so we can get everyone signed up and ready for a walk through. So we can start on time ^_^

no there will be no limit ,if there is allot of cosplayers were just going to have them walk on faster. But I don't think that's going to happen since we have 2 hours for the whole show. And badge name is what you've got on your badge, that you register for. That way we can call you without having the confusion of just calling out character names. Because you never know if there will be more than one of your cosplay.

You should, it'll be fun and you don't have to stay on stage forever, all you do is walk on, pose for cameras and then strut off. You can also have someone go with you long as their cosplaying or wearing an j-fashion.

Sorry we don't know what the layout will be officially, since we haven't been to the hotel. But the next Kumoricon meeting will be at the hotel, so once we know how big the room is, i'll post a layout plan.

All I know for our plan is the cosplayers will walk on stage like they would do at the walk on in the cosplay contest then make there way down between the middle row, then circle back into the back so that we can have all of the cosplayers be on stage together for a group photo.

Don't feel shy, it'll be alot of fun. All you have to do is walk on stage then off and sturt your stuff for the camreas. You can even dance around or do crazy things. Long as your having fun

I believe so, we'll have to check with the staff. But it'll be ok with us, long as there not a safety hazard and aren't being to rowdy.

That's ok you can change your cosplays even at the pre meet. Just make sure to tell us before the show starts, that way we have the correct info ^_^

Yes your signed up as mew ^_^ You can bring props long as they go by convention rules and are not messy. I wish we could have easy to clean up messy stuff, but we have to go by cosplay contest rules. So just to be safe i'd bring the ball instead of bubbles, so sorry T_T

lol yah this is it's first year. But really you go on strutting your thing, do something in character in the different photos spots and walk off. We'll be going through where you go for posing and how far you'll be walking at the pre meeting. ^_^

We don't know how many stops were going have yet, but i'd plan for more than 5 poses and have a character walk. Since were going to try and see about having the cosplayers walk down onto the floor after posing on the stage.

~Map out~

Ok well here is a rough layout of what the area will be like. We don't know officially about the stage and seating, because at the meeting they told us their still working on that. So here is what we think it'll be like after talking to Jaki.

Blue area; The pre meeting location and back stage. At 11:00 report here, but please be aware were going to be sharing the space with another meeting till 11:30. So we'll have to stay quiet till there done.

Black area; Is the stage and door we're going to be using for people to get on stage and off.

Red ling: will be a runway area (hopefully) through the seating area. So once your done posing on stage, you'll be walking over and down the runway. This will help people in the back see your wonderfully costumes, fashions, or whatever. lol

Bright purple; Is the seating of audience.

White dots; The places your going to spot for posing.

Yes she can come to the pre meet. But if you get her signed up ahead of time, it'll be less time for her to have to sit around. Since it's kinda like pre reg, and she'll have a earlier spot in the line up too. But whatever feels comfortable for you and your friend ^_^

It usually does, it'll probably even faster since their having a pre-reg night before the con. Where people can check in and buy their passes. But I can't say for sure, since there might be something that might go wrong.

Regarding winners;
We're still figuring that part out, we're going to get the feel of the event. Then at the pre meet, we'll announce it. But if there is a winner, we'll try and get a little note posted at the info booth or some other places for the people who are not there. And if your there well were just going to announce it and such. ^_^ Thank you for asking, I almost forgot XP lol. Remember these aren't real awards there just little cheesy spoof kind of awards, because were unofficially a event we can't have real awards. but if it happens next year. We can have real prizes and such. ^_^

No no, we understand sometimes something comes up. We don't want this event just to be the only event for people to enjoy. There is many other events going on and we understand if you see something better. Or just lost track of time ^_^
