Not really surprising with how this group went to the pits. No offense. >___>;

I'm doing really well, being kept busy during these last few weeks of summer by convention planning, and non-convention stuff, but I don't mind.~ It just makes my summer more memorable anyway.

My cosplays are all complete as of today, I got all the makeup and binding materials I was lacking this afternoon/evening and am very excited to show them (well technically only one) off at Kumoricon. I've gotten really involved in the events that're going on this year and so I am very excited to participate in them when the time comes around! x3

Thank you Shay.~ I've been working on that cosplay since around...June or so, so I'm very glad that it's done. xD

And no, I haven't even started the book actually. I'm going to start it this week now that I finally have a semi-slower schedule and am almost willing to work on it.

The reason Shay might not be able to go to Sakuracon isn't because of a ride, it's because she lives with our mom and step-dad now and their strict. And dumb. But yeah, if they allow her to go she'd totally ride up with me.

AHHH, I'm SO sorry I didn't get around to reading this until now and I'm really sorry all those things had to happen to you >3<

I'm also very sorry we didn't get to see each other at the con, I was only there for Friday and Saturday because I had to leave to attend an important religious event with my family and didn't get to come back TAT

Now that the con is over though, we might want to talk about this future of this group and if we would like to do anything for next year :3

To get something out of the way first, I'm just going to go ahead and say that I won't be going to Kumoricon next year DX There are several reasons why I won't be there, but I won't go into detail here about it.

Basically, that means that unless someone else is willing to take over the leadership role for New Days, I'm going to have to close down this group.

I'll edit the thread title reflecting our current status and I'm giving 24 hours from the time of this post for anyone interested to make themselves known. If after the allotted 24 hours have passed and no one feels like replacing me as person in charge, then I will announce closure of the group TAT

Thanks to everyone who contributed to New Days in the past, whether it be direct membership support or just a kind word of support; I really appreciate you all. I hope this group can still continue on operating without me, but if it can't be done, it can't be done :( For those of you still interested in being a part of a cosplay group though, it looks like a bunch of new ones have popped up recently, so you could see if you can join one of those, or even start one of your own if you'd like!

Since it's been a little over 24 hours since I made the announcement that the group will be disbanding and I haven't heard from anyone who may be interested in taking over, I officially pronounce New Days Dawning CLOSED.

Thanks again to everyone who showed their support for the group when it was up and running! I'm a little disappointed that we weren't able to work anything out for this year's con, but we tried our best. Good luck in the future everyone and hopefully we can still see each other at a cosplay meet or something during this next year! :3
