Title: Need new custom cosplay weapon ideas for the artist alley
Post by: omniwarrior on March 14, 2005, 09:37:31 pm: Sorry if this seems like spamming. I have an artists alley table for Kumoricon and I seem to be running out of ideas for fresh weapons and trinkets. My current list is

Buster sword (with light up materia slot option)
Hardedge Buster sword (with light up materia slot option)
Sephiroth's Masamune
Mimiru's sword from .Hack//
Naruto Kunai Blades
Hellsing Alucard's Guns(with light up barrel shooting option)
Naruto Zabuza swords

Below is stuff I am working on right now and seeing if I can make them look good

KH Sora's Keyblade
FF7 Barret's Gun-arm
FF7 Yuffie's weapon
FF7 Cid's Venus Gospel
FF7 Aeris staff
FF8 Squall gunblade
FF8 Seifer's Hyperion
FF9 Zidane Butterfly sword
FF10-2 Yuna's gun
FF unlimited Kaze's Demon gun
Chrono Cross Serge's Mastermune
Zelda64 Links sword and shield with light up Naru fairy
Inuyasha sword
Mecha rail gun (with lotsa lights and fans and stuffs)

I am not a great artist, so perfection is not a given. I am asking that anyone who has an idea, please post pictures or links to them, so I can see if it is something to add to my list. If you see any of the above that you want, please just say so I am sure to make enough and bring what I need. Thanks much!! ^__^

I'm guessing you're making these things full size, but what about making something like a "KH Sora's Keyblade" key chain?

Again, just an idea. (I know you have the Keyblade on the list already)

Post by: Luana-neko on March 17, 2005, 02:40:07 pm: I think there would be a pretty big demand for the Keyblade keychains, and they wouldn't take up that much space on the table either. With all the other large items for your table, you're bound to need something small to fill in the gaps. There's enough different keychains for the keyblade that you wouldn't get bored making a bunch of one style either.

Time is short and I am still busy on a massive amount of Buster swords and gunblades (and many other things too). My list is seperated by what has been done and looks good, and then the stuff I want to try out. But an individual keychain without the blade is a good idea...

Post by: omniwarrior on April 20, 2005, 09:50:37 pm: I need pictures of them. I have not played that game yet. I think I recieved a request for the guns, but the guy wanted all the details added in and it was too much for me to handle, especially in painting and such. I am working on getting a whole new paint kit made just for the new projects I have planned... so yeah... need pictures... and note like exact size and such...

makes evry 1st person shooter sniper look lame! and im a admin for a counter strike branch of a guild. =D i hope you could make that! that would be so cool to see!!!
