Title: Hotel Rooms?

I just called the DoubleTree and I had to be on wait for a few minutes just to get nothing...
Turns out that you can't see how many rooms are left on a certain date. They didn't tell me, I guess it's beacuse I sound like I'm 13 (Maybe beacuse I am?)
Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone has already booked a hotel room for the Con...
I just don't want to be left without a room.

I remember going to a Star Wars movie (the remake; I'm not THAT old), it was the second day when the movie was released so the place was packed. When the writing at the beginning started, some little kid read out loud "A long time ago-". The movie was soon filled with the sound of every person there hissing at him. Again, another moment where I thought it was hilarious and sad for the kid.

Really? thats interesting...since I'm 1/2 Korean ^_^. I read a couple Korean comics as well("Kill Me Kiss Me" and "Ragnarok"). Speaking of which, I thought "Kill Me Kiss Me" had one of the funniest lines where a guy said "Whee!! Wearing a dress is fun! ^_^"

It sounds like I'm going to miss Japanese TV when I come back home. There are some shows over here that I love (dramas, game shows, etc.)

And there's a search option on the "Memberlist" tab that allows you to find members based on different things in ascending and descending order. Just select the number of posts and you'll see where everyone is.

And Neko_Chan and Kurimono, may I suggest PM or starting your own thread for randomness? I don't mean to be a whiny old grump but some of these posts have gone completey off-topic (not this one though, I'm thinking of one's like the Gundam Seed one)

Yeah, I like it as well. my club been watching it recently. I like sakaki-san(the girl who always get bit by that cat). I think her and cat parts are some of the best........sad she can't get her own cat =(

And if you two like Azumanga and AMVs, then may I suggest an AMV of Azumanga called "Lord of the Yen"? Someone did the three Lord of the Ring trailers with Azumanga clips. They showed it last year at the con and it was great.

The other one with "The system is down" was done by subrunker studios and is a Strongbad song from one of his emails.

My favorite part of that video with when one of the vocal tracks says "Dancing Robots!".

I wish I could post more but I'm usually online while I'm at work and people keep caaaallllling me while I'm posting! :cry:

The idea was for it to be for THIS year. It would take place a week beforethe convention after all.

I think that I could get something together though.....
I'd need a car, a bullhorn, and a city permit for a gathering of people.

If i had a entrance fee of , like, 5 dollars from each person in the marathon (which would NOT be the full 26 miles a marthon is supposed to be) then I could afford to do it!

The 6 tickets don't all go to the same person.
There'd be two race awards, a costume award, a challenge award, and a spirit award. I also think that everyone would get at least one pocky at the end, maybe a Ramune if we had enough people.

This is something I'll have to talk to the staff about.

I believe that one is about a catgirl though. not many cat boys. usually its a cat girl for the fan service appeal I believe.

like whenever someone cosplays a bishi or a "gay" male character? of course, that isn't always the rule though. I'll have to see how things go when I wear my haku cosplay to sakura(I have a wig this time). speaking of dressing up as cat bishis, I did considered for a moment of cosplaying the catboy in that new anime I mentioned. I thought he looked cute.

based on my understanding, the person on the right is a woman. but the cat person is a boy for sure(unless my memoy is scrambled or something). the catboy there is the one I had the random thought of cosplaying.

Edit: okay my memory was umm...#$%$&^$%^. I dunno if the person on the right is a woman or not.....from what I can tell...it does look like boy love series. not that it affects my decision on if I'll cosplay that catboy.

Speaking of boy love, I learned they have boy love PC games in Japan now O_o. and one of the first games is now an anime series on JP tv.

I'll keep that in mind when I cosplay as a Black Gema Gema Dan member. Not sure if people will know the character but they may notice the cat ears and collar.

hmm...I had one very similar to that at JP festival shortly after Kumori 04. they just didn't run away and hid after the glomp. it did surprise me though O_o any harder I would of have trouble staying on my feet.

well....I'm more likely to simply be swarmed by like...fangirls...likely catgirls in particular. if I die....then umm.....I'll still have 8 lives!!!(although, I'll may have fewer by the end of the con....). what about if you die though? neko chan has a death glomp with your name on it o_o?

they're still around I think but not hugely popular like when they first came out.

I have room for more I think cuz I got a premium room that comes with a hide a bed so it looks it will be a fun if not crowed time in my room.
