Title: anyone know a good way to make weapons?

I want to make a sword for My Tenshi Cosplay but Im not sure on how to do so.

Depending on the thickness you can just use a bokken and paint it.

I would carve wood. That is what I did for one of my swords ;D

as for making, uhm i would  buy a cheap plastic sword @ a second hand store...like goodwill and spraypaint it. Fluorescent would be cool... too bad no black light dance party. lol.

You can use one of feather's sword making tutorials out of cardboard 8D
Look on the cosplay help topic for them or look on cosplay.com
even though it's cardboard it turns out amazingly!

id try out the painted boken idea, they are really pretty cheap. i remember a while ago i got one on amazon for like 10 bucks, plus paint and the so-little time spent making it...its a good way to go.
