Title: Mochitsuki 2009 table volunteers
Post by: JeffT on January 12, 2009, 09:27:09 pm
We're looking for volunteers to help setup our table, take registrations, and demonstrate cat-ear making at the Mochitsuki cultural festival on Saturday, January 17. The festival is open from 11:00am to 3:00pm, and we will arrive around 9:00am to start setting up our table.

The table must be finished setting up by 10:30am and we must finish cleanup by 6:00pm.

If we have enough volunteers, people can trade off and attend the stage performances at 1:00pm and 3:15pm (the last one should be pretty easy as the cultural fair should technically be closed by that time).

Please post here or contact publicity@kumoricon.org to volunteer, stating when you're available, and we'll keep everyone updated on the meetup location and instructions.

If you have any additional ideas for cosplay-like crafts or simple activities at the table, we are happy to hear suggestions, as we're hoping to provide lots to do to spread the word about Kumoricon to new audiences. Also please state if you are experienced with our cat-ear making, because I'd like these people to be available through the opening times to oversee the setup of this activity.

Thank you!
