Title: Manga Workshop for Teens
Post by: Wuntvor on December 27, 2008, 09:15:30 pm
The Eugene Public Library will be having a couple of anime related events soon!

Manga Workshop for Teens (http://www.eugene-or.gov/portal/server.pt?space=CommunityPage&control=SetCommunity&CommunityID=215&PageID=0#) - December 30: Professional artist Marianne Walker shows you how to draw Manga characters.

First Friday - Kickstart Your New Year! (http://www.eugene-or.gov/portal/server.pt?space=CommunityPage&control=SetCommunity&CommunityID=215&PageID=0#) - January 2: Multimedia talk on the history of manga & anime at 6:30.

I wish that the Friday event didn't start at 6:30PM, my Anime Friday is at 7:00PM so I can't attend.  I'm debating having it late next week just so I can go.  :-\  Since the same person is running the Tuesday workshop I will go and talk to her then.  See all of you manga artists there!  :)

I might go to the 1/2 event.
FYI all: This is the same legendary "Marianne from Copic" who hooks Creation Station up with all our loaner markers and ink pens, prizes, and promo materials every KC! So if you're in Eugene, it would be a great show of support, as well as a fun learning experience and social scene, to come to either or both of these workshops!
