I'm going to be selling buttons in the Artist Alley at K-con this year! I make 1.25" buttons that I sell for $1 each.
I need to know what kind of stuff you would like to see on buttons. What would or do you want to buy?
Suggest - Series, characters, phrases, symbols, anything! :]

I think the 1.25 are better, I have a 1 inch button maker and with the fold then tend to not show much.
I think $2 is fair

Kumo staff did this last year, and it was awesome. Basically, the more designs you can make, the better.

The more people answer, the more this helps me, and I know there are more than 3 people on these forums...

I personally think both sizes are wonderful. It's smart to get both sizes instead of just one, because if you run out then you run out XD
Um.... what designs? Well you could go with the mainstream shows and such with chibi characters on the button saying something etc.etc. Or you could do your own original design which would be unique as well. I think $1.50 to $2.00 is a fair price.

I personally LOVE stickers. Because then I can put them on my DS, phone, television, face...anything lol.
: D But bookmarks are very smart as well, since everyone probably reads manga and novels and such.
Keychains, definately. Who doesn't want an adorable Elizabeth dangling from their car keys? I know I would X33

I like both sizes, I'd say $1.50 for smaller one and $2.00 for bigger one.
You could do like a 2 for 3.00 deal for the big size if you wanted. *shrug*
I like stickers and key chains. Depending on the type of keychain, $2-3.00
And stickers, depending on size and amount, ect. like $1.00.

and i think sayings like "its over 9000!" or "i heard you lyk mudkips" would be good
keychains are always the best, i'd say 2.5- -3.50 for them
and stickers should depend :)

I like 1.25 better. easiest not to lose. I think a 1.00-1.50 is a sufficient price.

I like the 1.25, it's easier to see the design on it.
I'd say $2 or $2.50 is good.
All three of the other ideas sound good. I like the idea of stickers the best though, because they're fun, and keychains are also awesome.

Would you prefer 1" (the left circle on the paper in the picture) or 1.25" (right circle) buttons?: 1 inch, just easier to handle for some reason.
What designs would you like to see?: As long as they are original, I don't really mind. A lot of button people use art that isn't theirs, and I tend not to purchase anything that has rip off work pulled from the internet on it. Just little cute chibis or something are neat.
How much would you pay?: No more then a 1$. Seeing as I make these as well, maybe $2 for three if they catch my eye.
Also, out of bookmarks, stickers, and keychains, which would you prefer?: If I had to choose just one, it'd be keychains.

But the stickers would have to be tiny ouo I know some people like big ones though...
And I'm kinda with Neo on the prices... Probably just a dollar, and maybe some sort of 7-for-$5 deal or something.

I would also love to see buttons that are pairs, like '----> I'm with an idiot.' and '<--- That's what she said.' Or just things that could match and be awesome. :D Also, stuff like 'I'm the seme of this relationship' for the fangirls with a uke version of it too. Just throwing out ideas that pop into my head~
Any well-known series would sell great, I think. And maybe you can have custom-made orders for more money so people could have, say, their forum name in one? :D

I'm not really familiar with TWEWY and the player pins but I will look into those.

I can make custom ones too... I do that at school. 8]
If it's something that others would be likely to buy, I just make it and charge the regular price.
But if it's a difficult design that no one else is likely to buy, then I charge $1.50.
I've been thinking of making buttons with the FMA symbols.
And also one with a ROFLcopter on it...
I already have one design that says "OM NOM NOM"
Keep suggesting please... I just need something to spark my brain ~_~

You could have lolcats, maybe~? I would buy a few with small sayings on them. :D
I would also recommend putting certain 'bishie' or whatever characters on it, with some color back ground that matches them, like Gaara with a red background. Those would go pretty fasssst~
I'm sure random smileys would be fun to do, especially one's like 'OH NOEZ' face.
I...would like Okami buttons, and I think they would sell pretty well, not to mention they're so prettttty.

I'd say the popular ones there would be the player pin, red skull pin, Lightning Rook, Rhyme, some healers like cheetah or that smiley face, and maybe slashing or noise pins. :x
That in itself is a lot though xD;

I came up with some ideas for the buttons with my little bro in a short session today!
Naruto symbols for the narutards - Love symbol for Gaara, the Swirly Naruto thing, and Uchiha fan
A Longcat button series, where people can buy as many as they like to connect.
A Triforce button! 8]
Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi buttons with a colored outer circle, white center circle, and colored letter within that.
And of course a 1-up mushroom button.

I didn't see this in any of the posts, so I'll go ahead and say it.
I would really love to see one with Momiji Fujimiya and Mamoru Kusanagi from Blue Seed, either commical or romantic, or whatever.

Preference - 1" or 1.25" buttons? 1.25" to be honest, they're just a better size... ^^;
What designs would you like to see? If you could make some that have ANYTHING to do with Sailor Moon - I would more than happily buy them. I think that Sailor Moon really doesn't get paid enough attention to anymore to keep the fan base, like myself or my friends, happy. Sailor Pluto or Jupiter especially though.
But other than that original things or chibis seem to be your best bet.
I'll totally try to buy some FMA ones too though, if you do make them. ;)

AS much as I love Vocaloids - I have friends who REALLY like Vocaloids too, she'd probably really love to find Vocaloid stuff. Agreed.

I have to say, those ideas were really good and that the buttons that come in pairs is an awesome/cute idea. Especially the seme/uke ones. ;)
As well as things like common popular phrases as many have said. And maybe like, a "desu" one :D Just a thought.

The custom made orders so that they could say things like usernames on them is cool... But that name one gave me an idea, is there any chance you could do ones for people... idk... let's say, with things like their gaia avatar and/or username or stuff from sites like that on there? :D I bet those would sell really well too. Even though you'd charge a little bit more for those. ;D I know I'd sure love that.

How much would you pay? I dunno, I really do think a $1-$1.50 is a fair price for the normal ones... And maybe like a special price if you buy a certain amount, or something. And the special personal ones could be like $2-3 dollars.. And if there's any possible way to make the avatar ones or things that are along those lines that are like super personal but awesome ones? Maybe even more than that.
Or at least that's how I'd feel about it. ^^;
Bookmarks, stickers, or keychains? Keychains :-[ I actually kind of tend to collect them a little... Those or bookmarks would be REALLY awesome. :D

I love buttons. x3 I buy them every year to decorate my badge lanyard with.
I'll pretty much buy anything that I like and think is cute/funny. Such as your Om nom nom one. xD
But as for series I would buy for: Kingdom Hearts, Sailor Moon, Final Fantasy VIII, Phoenix Wright games (including the Apollo Justice one)

What about actual images from the manga...? I had a lot of Shonen Jump magazines that I was just going to recycle, but I figured would be good button material. I punched out a lot, so I have some from Naruto. Might you guys be interested in those at all?

I don't usually buy merchandise but I would totally buy .hack//G.U. buttons in a heartbeat. Maybe not too many people at MEW would know what they are but I bet a bunch of people at a bigger con like Sakura or Kumoricon would appreciate such an awesome game series in button form.
