Am I the only one who noticed that the March general meeting is on Easter Sunday at noon?
Personaly: Portland + excessive old people getting out of church = no
Just thought I'd bring it up..

ooh, crap, hmm, lemme get back to you on that one.

Easter is also getting a bit secularized like Christmas, so there may be people who get hauled away to faaaaaaam-bly obligations (just shoot me...)
What's worse for regular churchgoers isn't "excessive old people," but that Easter is one of those days (like Christmas) when all the twice-a-year folk come out of the woodwork to 'feel religious" and, bet dollars to donuts that the sermon (or homily) contains at least one call to 'come back here more often,' or worse 'if anything, -NOW's= the time to pass the hat (which usually pisses of newcomers ... )
PS: Anyone gonna watch Mel Gibson's 'Passion' between now and then, since we're in Lent already? (Hint: It's "live action.")
PPS: Does Lent cancel out Valenties Day?

Okay, meeting has been updated so that the March Meeting is Saturday March 19th. Hopefully no further changes will be needed.

Was Sunday the 20th unworkable?

The library only had openings for that Saturday, Sunday was booked.
