Now that me and my twin have come out with our super secret Ouran cosplay, I'm ready to flaunt it.
CatchxMe and I shall be doing Pink Hair!Hikaru and Blue Hair!Kaoru (but we won't say which ;)). I was thinking that we should have all the Ouran cosplayers in 2009 do a photoshoot, since I don't recall one happening last year.
Edit~ I've decided that since I won't be able to modify this post after awhile, I won't bother with posting a list of everyone cosplaying Ouran. Just discuss who you'll be cosplaying as in this thread with us :3

I have it all (mostly) for Haruhi. What I mean by "mostly" is that my patch isn't an actual patch; it's paper (cardstock) fastened to my jacket with tape and safety pins (it's not bad but the edges have bent (from hugs and all) and something sturdier would be better). XD I'm going to get an embroidered one sometime.

My dad's signature meal (the only one he really makes) is hot dogs, mac cheese, and peas. Peas can actually make the mac cheese taste better or vice versa.
When I go to Wendy's I always dip fries in the frosty but never chicken nuggets (because I don't want to get crumbs in it - though I imagine that would be tasty too. xD).

as for why? I suspect its because they're big experienced VA so it was either them or some new person who didn't have a lot of experience. I think naruto is an example of the latter

well I found one place that sold the whole costume for like 80. but I just want the jacket. :/ I can get the under shirt easily, tie also(just have to add the purple line) but the thing is finding the right jacket. size, color, texture. D8 its tough. buying it online it'd be made to fit me, right color, already have the patch and the tie. I just need to make sure they'd give me only the jacket+tie. then it'd be even cheaper.

The place I got mine from didnt have the tie. And the pants were waaaaay to big for me. SO it might be smarter to buy it online I guess but just to cumtomise your cosplay costs a little bit more then you bargened for. And also dun forget shipping and handeling

There's lots of interest this year though; it's making me happy! :D
Worst case, even if you don't host for the tea party, there's going to be a photoshoot which is much less of a time commitment and most likely a lot of fun as well.
There's going to be a host training panel sort of thing for all tea party hosts though. So, if people sign up to host but don't attend the training panel, they can't host for the tea party. If someone doesn't sign up beforehand but goes to the training panel and asks to be a host for the tea party there, they will be allowed to host if there is room for them. I have no idea what the amount of hosts is going to be limited to or if it really is going to be limited at all, this is just in case we have way too many.
Anyway, the host training thing is very important. We want to make this event really awesome, so we'll be going over special stuff at the training and getting to know each other and working on really getting into character so we can put on a good show. ...Here's my pro/con list for Haruhi vs. Kyouya. xD
Pro-H: Already have most required stuff. Still need patch and roses, but I'd need to get those too if I was Kyouya, plus for Kyouya I'd need to get other stuff like a wig and glasses and other props. Wigs are a bit expensive... Yeah. I'd have to spend less money to be Haruhi (lol, how fitting).
Pro-K: There seem to be a lot more Haruhi cosplayers than Kyouya cosplayers.
Pro-K: I don't know for sure, but I think I might look more like Kyouya than I do Haruhi. (The face part of me.)
Pro-H: My height is more suited towards Haruhi than Kyouya.
Pro-K: We all know that Kyouya is the mastermind behind the club, and I am in charge of this thing. That would be fitting.
Pro-H: I don't know if I could act like Kyouya for that long. I might die. xD Haruhi is way easier.

Depends the parents...My mom doesn't really care about me having short hair, since she's the one who cute it, her problem is having my hair in my eyes, which I need a little bit of for Kyouya. So, I'll just have to keep it out of my eyes, so she doesn't come at me with scissors......
And you can make any hair cut look girly with the right clothes!!! I learned that myself, since I had a very boyish cut, plus I have a boy-like face, so the clothes made everything!

I like the idea of the mall, but I'm afraid the lighting might not be very good there and some stores don't want you taking pictures in them.

Right after the panel in the Rounds is the best time for me. If we take about half an hour to an hour, that would be great. :3

From meeting at the Rounds, we should head over to either the 2nd floor foyer or the park blocks. We can't have our shoot in there because first of all I don't think it's that great a location for pictures and second we have to clean it up and get out of there for the next panel to be set up.
