As for the coat thing... They probably saw her as too weak to be an actual member. She can only screw with the memories of people close to sora...

& owah , i always seem to cosplay girl characters people seem to dislike 8D; .
i guess that's because they're always the main girl characters & they're often disliked .
but you should always cosplay the character you love because for certain there will always be someone who likes the character too , even if most don't .
it's for the love of the characters yo' =u= LOL .

I need to update my wig, or get a better one. But I definitely need to redo the widows peak and work more on the front of it. My chakrams just need to be touched up, and the coat needs to be sewn, but other then that, everything's good!

Aw thanks. But Anna actually styled it all, I just sat around and mouth breathed a lot.
I'm going to buy two new wigs for him! That way I can cut up one and add it onto the other. The one I have now I'm not sure what I'll do with.

Haha yeah I know, I owe her. I stopped halfway through styling Steven's Tsuna wig, and she had to finish the rest. Then I made her do touchups on all three of our wigs before Bridgeport. XD

Heheh. Well I was feeling lazy. And she was intent on finishing everything, so I let her. I just sat around and watched movies. Other then the night before. Then I was up till 2 styling that damn Tsuna wig while they both slept.

According to the official art, he's got dark blue hair that lightens to light grey/white at the bottom. To get that effect on my Zexion cosplay, I bought a wight wig and sprayed it blue. Results were mixed. xP

I never used a wig for my Zexion cosplay, I used colored hairspray. Blue first, and make sure you get a light-ish blue color, and then a misting of gray/silver over the blue. I suppose you could make the gray/silver more concentrated near the top.
Well, my advice may not work so well for you, as I don't know how spray color works with wigs. >_<;

& really they look basically the same , with his hair appearing a more grey-ish blue near the roots & then darkning to a deeper blue as the hair gets away from the roots .

Kairi's isn't that expensive. I did the KH2 opening version on a pretty limited budget. The biggest thing was really just getting the zippers...The ones I got cost me the most...

@danayoki: Well I did ALL of my cosplay IN AUGUST and finished like five minutes (not even) before we left. and a lot of people said mine was one of the best they'd seen. So if you can just take the time (and the money) to get all your supplies, it should be really easy to knock it out.

I agree. It just takes effort. I sewed Kairi's schoolgirl skirt by hand (no sewing machine) for SakuraCon last year. Took me a good solid month, but it came out good. I need to resew the pleats so they hold in better, but it's fine.

Yeah I'm used to being called short (even with how tall I am) because most of my good friends are those guys that are taller than 6 feet, so I'm like "YOOooo!!! How's the weather up there!!" and stuff.

I use one to two ace bandages, mainly to keep them in place. Then I use a compression shirt (Which is made specifically for this purpose) over the top. I'm a 34 D, and it works fairly well for me. Now, compress shirts are quite expensive, but if you're going to be binding a lot then getting one would be a very good investment. It will save you a lot of hassle and discomfort. :3 If you do get one, I recommend getting one from www.t-kingdom.com/ which is where I got mine from.
It might be a lot easier for you to bind because you're an A. I've used the tight swim top method in the past, and it works pretty well. I would suggest it for you. :3

As for the binding, I think it'll get the 17.99$ one from Underworks ^^ That one looks like really the best bet for me.

I got some beads for mine ^_^ A variety pack from JoAnn's, and 2 different kinds of chains and a bunch of those tiny rings.... not jump rings, the weird split ones...
It's more or less done XD I have to finish sewing on the zipper (by hand grrrrr) and then I have to try it on and see what I need to do to it for the shape. I know the back of it needs to be taken in for the waist and then left out for the bell-like shape.... @.@

*huggles Kairi too* I like her~ She's pretty~ ^^ And a good strong girl. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a woman's activist or anything XD I don't think... I'm a CHARACTER activist! If that character wasn't there, the story just wouldn't be the same- face it. Think about it. No Kairi = No princess heart to be stolen, thus no whole Sora adventure and no Oathkeeper Keyblade - and no Roxas - and no Sora reviving, and and.... yeah no fun of the paopu fruit either!!!

I know right!! All the yaoi lovers (now mind you, I have my days when Akuroku absorbs my mind) use the whole line of like "Well the Japanese were originally not going to have Kairi, and Sora and Riku were going to be gay." But to that I'm just like, "Well where's the story then?" The fact of the matter is that they put her in, and that's that. The story unfolded with Sora wanting to save Kairi. That's the main reason he went with Donald and Goofy. To save KAIRI, because RIKU can take care of himself.
Aaah.... *stops self* Er.... Um.... moving on before I keep ranting... xD

I seriously have a whole rant about Kairi haters/yaoi lovers and how they're basically killing Kairi off because she's stupid/annoying or because, oh IDK... SORA LOVES HER?!?!? Seriously!! Some of the yaoi fanfictions PISS ME OFF!! Can they at least make it so everybody is happy and with someone instead of her getting killed off?!?

But hey Kairi was a princess of heart for the central bit of the plot - and the princess of Hollow Bastion (I'm convinced). Plus there's the whole bit of Riku teasing Sora about the paopu for Kairi, and Sora drawing it on the wall -- and and don't get me wrong. When Sora's looking he goes "Riku Kairi" signaling that Riku's more important because he's his best friend and he saw him disappear into the darkness, while Kairi just kinda went le poof!
It was Sora's goal from the beginning to get BOTH Kairi and Riku back to the islands - thus the whole KH2 dealy-bob.
(And yes! Kairi has a cool sense of style~ ^^)
Oh ^_^ And as for AxelxRoxas - that makes some sense. I mean they're best friends, and from the scenes we get to see and the context hey it could go either way of best friends or almost like lovers. Doesn't mean they WERE. Personally I think they aren't that compatible from what we get to see of Roxas in Twilight Town -- but after he sort of remembers everything, he and Axel seem to get along well *shrug* It's a coin flip.

Yeah. I lot of people have really stupid reasons for hating characters... I mean, with Sasuke, I hate his guts because he keeps making Sakura cry and turned his back on the village, which in turned caused Naruto to make that promise to Sakura that probably tore his heart in two. That bull **** just pisses me off that he can't realize that getting stronger by using the methods he did is just cheating. That's why I hate him. But those people that're like "OMG HEZ SO EMO RAH!!"
Danayoki, you at least get that he's stupid for leaving the village AND annoyingly EMO but some people take that one fact and go "I hate him." with no further reason. It's ridiculous... I'm all fine and dandy for hating a character. I hate Yuki from Furuba with a fiery passion that the devil would be jealous of, but I have my reasons. That and I don't go around to videos with Yuki in it going "OMFG I HATE HIM SO MUCH!!! D<" *pet peeve* If you don't like him, don't watch the video, right?

but I think my dislike for kairi is very minor compared to my hate for other Characters in other games or animes xDDD
I do think of your going to Udderly HATE a character that you should do it in moderation and not blow up in the faces of the people that do like that character, it makes me angry seeing that on Youtube or cosplay.com. xD

Note: the Naruto cosplayers of the group are making a KH version of them, hence why I listed them.

I think atm we are thinking of having a general KH shoot at 1 on Sunday and the organization shoot at 3 Sunday. Anyone is welcome to go to those. I may plan to have a professional photographer latter on for the 9 organization members that are going to be in my group.

Kingdom Hearts is one of the most popular series out there, and it is on the schedule now so I don't think it would conflict too much with other shoots. And there is nothing I can really do about it because it will ALWAYS conflict with other shoots and events, people have to set priorities and that it not my problem. And if they want to go to the cosplay contest they can go to the general KH shoot at one and have more than enough time. I just noticed at Sakuracon a lot of the time was devoted to either the main most popular characters (Sora, Roxas, Axel and Riku) and to the entire group of the Organization. This way if the Organization shoot is at a different time then the other characters can get a chance to shine.
My thought was to plan this shoot in advance so that people would be more dedicated to go to this. They would have Sunday at one crossed out in their mind already.

soft is a bitch though when they decide to be mean and stick to your finger via folding itself over. Like, it'll conform to the shape of my finger so I have to take the time to fix them and try again. XD So mean!

Oo; Really? I didn't know that. I was actually meaning I'm chicken to poke my eye and I'm not sure how to even get them out. I made my friend take a vid of herself head on putting in her contacts so I could see sorta, but she forgot the take-out bit ^^;

I guess people who wear contacts have bad eyesight and their eye sight is always getting worse but that isn't from the contacts themselves, its from the deterioration of eyes. As for getting them out I look up, put my index finger right over my pupil and pull down a little then I use the pad of my index finger and the pad of my thumb to pinch it and pull out. You really don't feel it at all. it doesn't hurt, or anything like that. Its obvious to me when I am not touching my contact because my finger makes my eye burn very very slightly, but when I am touching my contact there is nothing.
Oh and I also use my middle finger to pull down on my lower eyelid to my cheek bone.
This video shows you how to do it, I find that if you look up and pull the contact away from your pupil so you don't see it you will blink less and get it out faster.

Contacts are much easier to get out then in. But yeah, once you're use to them, it's easy either way. If you're gentle, you're not going to poke your eye out. I'm pretty sure we've all been poked in the eye on accident by someone's finger, a lot harder then it would be to get a contact in. They didn't poke your eye out, did they?

My Axel cosplay was kind of flushed down the crapper when my sister tried to "improve" my axel wig, when she tottally ruined it.....well anywho, I'm planning on an Axel,Karren, and Sebastian cosplay for this year....and maybe I can convince my boyfriend to come to the con with me...but he hates gays....so he might be a little cornered...so maybe not ^v^' but woo! there needs to be more Axels so we can do Axel orgy pictures XD (with clothes on of course...unleeesss...NO! I can't give into to the dark side!)

I'ts pretty hard, especialy since I'm self taught for the most part, with lessons once upon a time. I can read music and all but this peice has a ton of trasitions from notes that are very far away from each other, and chords with notes an octave away. My hand has to stretch to hit certain chords >.<

yeah I started playing the violin in 2nd grade, and then in 5th I took piano lessons for a year but the piano had to be given back to the people that let us borrow it, and I have been in chior since 7th grade. Now I have a keyboard (got it for christmas) and I have to relearn it >.< its tough

painting isn't that hard but gradients are x.x I need it to go from blue to yellow in a relatively smooth way, I think I was able to do that well enough.

Sponges + rags help hand gradients a lot. I've seen my mom do it with her oils.
If I have to, I'll bump another costume out of the way to be Roxas this year if only JUST to have that keyblade XD I gotta buy the wood first of course, but I can't do that until I'm home. x_x I'm so itching to do it already - and fix my bed. I also got these awsome pants for Roxas, so I might not wear the ones I originally planned to.. I'll have to see how it all looks together. Cause pant choice 1 equals boots, but pant choice 2 needs my sneakers instead... @.@ Hrm... Least that devil hat's done.

And then for the shirt, I saw a good guy's shirt at BigLots yesterday for like 2$ that I'm going to go snag. I can put ribbon in it too, since I have so much extra xD
Then maybe paint something in white with nail polish if I can find where I put it. Might've taken it home in that last round xD

I know my Roxas made her Keyblade out of duct tape and.. ah.. I forget what else. But it was a sort of hard paper that she bought at Michaels. It turned out really nicely, too. So you don't always need to make it out of wood. It'll be a lot lighter, too. And trust me, carrying around something made out of wood gets tiring easily. I carried my Chakrams around at Sakuracon all three days, and they were made out of wood.
But it turns out we're gonna have a mini group this year of Kingdom Hearts! Not too big. A Sora, Riku, Namine, and a Kairi. Plus us as Axel and Roxas. We might do a skit, or something. But we might save that for Akicon, too. XD

@ veraca - Actually, the stuff my Roxas used is really durable. She drew out the design, then cut it out about 4 - 5 times for thickness, placed them all together and covered it in colored duct tape. It's lightweight, looks good in photos and is almost impossible to break.

@ Sayda : I dunno.. The Kingdom Key I have already is wood and I doubt I'll make the other one heavier. The only thing I think it'd need to do is maybe wrap the handle with fabric or something to be a bit more comfy if I can't make it a circle.

Yeah lots of things go wrong, I would ask someone who does know how to use one. Someone who can physically be there to look at it.

T-T As far as I know, only JoAnn is the nearest people who'd know how to fix it. Otherwise, a hammer and a short flight to the burn pile behind my house as soon as I get home.
All I know is the needle isn't picking up the bobbin thread from below, so I spent 2 hrs getting it up there myself through the hole and it's still not picking it up, so I've tried different twists and junk to get it to work and it still won't. Death to the sewing machine. It's okay, it was only 14$ and wanted to test seeing how I liked it, but it messed up so quickly >>;

well I know with mine, you thread the needle, then put the bobbin in the compartment below it. Then you have to put the thread from the bobbin through this... hook device which is really just a mini chink in the metal.. and pull it up. Then I turn the dial that manually lowers my needle and make it go down, then back up. The thread from the bobbin catches and is pulled up. I just have to separate the two after that. Sometimes if I don't do the bobbin part right it won't catch...

Yeah, I took a sewing class, so it's kind of second nature to me now. Thank god I don't have the same kind my school does or else I'd be wanting to throw it against the wall and set it on fire. (a friend of mine and I said that every time the damn things jammed up on us. lol it became our own little joke.)

T-T It just won't catch. I've pulled the thread through the hole on the bottom and manually tried twisting it, loosened and tightened the tension thingy and GAAAAH it still won't sew! >:( As soon as I have a hammer, it's gonna get BEATEN into this machine.

It's prolly not broken. it's just a matter of putting the string the right way. it can be complicated sometimes. I know when I first started i had to get the teacher to help me and then pray that I don't run out of thread before I was done.

Oh I did get the wood from Lowe's the day before yesterday =3 It was in the treasure-chest and stuff area heheh. It's kinda heavy for one piece, but I got it a bit too big and it'll be cut down anyway into shape so it'll loose weight that way. I doubt it'll end up any heavier than my Kingdom Key. If it does... wow that'd be talent XD;
I got two pieces of the wood too =3 One to make the mistakes on and one to make for real. I plan to actually make two keyblades, I'm just wondering what keyblade to make other than the Pumpkin Head. I don't really have the patience to make the Oblivion or Ultima... I'm debating making Kairi's though, cause that'd involve carving in the details and then looooots of fun colors to paint with =3 Odds are, I won't know which one I'll end up making since I'll have to see if my mom'll let me use her gesso in the first place and if there's any paint she'll let me use - since she does have oils (me = no-no) and acrylics and some others I think... Hahah XD Like watercolors'll work on gesso-covered wood.

Yeah I want to see you more. The driving test seemed easy to me. Just be very careful and you should be fine. The written test was so easy after drivers ed x.x

That would be great. Maybe for next Kumoricon....but that is a long way away. The only thing that I think is important for the twilight town versions is that they all have some sort of black zip of jacket, short sleeve jacket, or vest since they all wear the normal jacket.

also when you lived there you were used to the smell. I know that when I cross the border to Washington it smells a little different than Oregon does. And if you lived there or even been there for about 30 minutes you will get used to it.

"America" smells differently everywhere. Bolivia doesn't smells like Mexico, which doesn't smell like NYC or DC, which don't smell like LV or LA- which don't smell like Seattle or Portland. None of which smell like Greenland, Alaska or Rhode Island. *firm nod* We're two continents of large smells. Olympia smells different than the peninsula. T-T I miss smelling the fishy-salty sea~

Yeah I am excited, except that I just spend 300 buying a new costume and I don't have any money right now. But the money I get for my birthday should cover the rest I have to pay for the jacket. Plus I will have one if not two more paychecks coming in.

That's good. As soon as school ends I'm applying at the Cajun Grill in the mall since they're hiring again and I can work mornings. That way if I don't have that many hours, or my original job can't take me (they're having to do a lot of cut backs because of the economy) then I have a second job, and then if I do work there, I have another job for an extra paycheck and that means more money. :3

I don't think the rose would work as well. You would have to cut and style that one where this one shouldn't need either. Its one of those wigs that you can put on and go.

Oh that one is perfect!! It comes in the dark pink that fits Mar Mar's hair color too~!! I was going to get the Clover in the Dark Pink and just cut it... But that works better.

I actually think a Roxas wig would be easier, especially with that tutorial. There is clearer instructions where the spikes go and you don't have to rely on CG

Roxas is surprisingly easy for us. x.x; But maybe that's because the wig was cut into a boy cut, and we go for a more natural look. I know sometimes when a wig's styled too spikely, it tends to look bad vs. a more natural way.

Really? After styling my Roxas wig so much, I'd think Cloud'd be easier cause the CG examples are very 'natural' and easier to go off of than clumps in a more anime-ed CG. Though, Roxas wasn't too hard for me to style after I got the basis of what locks go where really... It's just probably always going to have that one lock of hair coming forward on the side because otherwise you'd see my hair too easily ^^;

I say, since they'll be hard to make, put em off until all your other stuff is done :'D
Then just use an old pair of slipons and hotglue. if you glue anything near the bottom and are scared of it coming off (lol my foam) use rubber cement, since the edges near the bottom usually are rubber and hotglue doen't stick so well to it ._.;
EDIT: OH WAIT I keep forgetting sora has zippers on his shoes. Like... first sew a strip of fabric-zipper-fabric that'd fit on it near exactly, and hotglue it on oux well, that's what I'd do.

I finished sewing the shirt for Christmas Roxas. I officially hate fur now. Least this kind. And I messed up and sewed the arms inside out somehow, when I started it inside-out and didn't flip it right-ways when I sewed them... So how that happened, I have nooooo idea. Meh goes with sewing by hand I guess.
I'll get some pics of it later this week. I've got two options I'm thinking for the shirt @.@ Maybe three if I can find where I put the shirt.
Then it's just the keyblade~ ...I'm tempted to use my X-acto knife and carve it out of the wood VERY slowly XD;

Yes that would take a long time....and dull your knife really really fast....you might want to find someone else who knows how to use a saw well to cut it out.

I'm sure they'll look great. Maybe you could go to kinkos or something and have them print out more- it'd be more expensive, but unlimited supply of ink (sort of).

Yeah you'd have to make like.. a seperate container somewhere on the keyblade so the ice itself wouldn't harm it. That might look a little weird. Or you could buy a bunch of those fake cigarettes and discreetly attatch them to the thing and wave it around a bunch. I'm sure they'd smoke a little.

I remember once hearing about some kind of pyrotekniks that involve flameless smoke, but it wasn't ice either....
You could maybe make some sort of hole and put insence in it? And surround the hole with metal, like alluminum or something. You'd have to have a metal tin to pour the ashes into or something to blow it out.

It's for the three of them. But actually, we only have enough fabric for two coats. We would need 15 yards of fabric for all three coats. x.x; We didn't have enough money to buy fabric for my sister, so we have to go back later on. We also need to buy lining for them, too.

Yes it iiiis. Also, progress! We cut out, and altered the pattern to give it a more accurate cut, we also cut out one coat, and started sewing it. Steven did a really good job on the fake piping of the coat, too. >83

That's the piping so far. It's on the top part of the jacket. He didn't get very far before the machine jammed. DX There's also a few stores here in Portland who sell industrial zippers that we're going to check out.

I'm testing out for make-up right now since my mom made me use her eyeliner pencil earlier XD
I don't think the liquid eye liner (on one eye) will work. It looks too solid & harsh compared to the darkening make-up. And should the lips be lighter like they are, or a darker chocolate type color?

I think the eyeliner brings out your eye. If anything, I would just line the waterline of your entire eye with a black pencil eyeliner, that way it's not too obvious. It's what Anna and I do for Cosplays. Other then Axel, of course. XD

I don't think it matters much what the boots look like. Most people don't have them anyway. I got mine at Goodwill, and they work just fine! They were also 15$, which saved me a lot of money. I got my gloves there, too.

It's the pumpkin head keyblade I'm making for the Christmas Town Roxas I have. I wanted to do it so I'd have two keyblades. I've got that original one I made randomly for Sakura still, just have to glue it in some places to fix it (woot for foam). And I have the kingdom key. I -hoped- to have both the pumpkin head & kingdom key for CT Roxas, since they're both about the same weight then #1 and two, they'd work.
*pulls out hair* It's more or less done being carved. It's that DANG bat that's just... it's evil. It has an evil soul- it's called "scrap wood of the devil" -_-

Actually, I did well at the wig, and I've been working my butt off on Renge and Botan. Have you ever tried to put a wig in a high ponytail? No? Oh really! Well, it's not easy. And I think that I'd make a much better Lucas than Sora anyways.

Maybe it depends on the kind of friend. I know real sarcastic friends say those kinds of things- but usually not on forums where other people can chew them out for it. My best friend and I share the sarcasm evils a lot, but hey, we always tell the other when it's gone too far *shrugs*

Also people should keep in mind that when you are typing something on the internet no one knows if you know the person you are talking to or if you are being sarcastic, they can only interpret as a literal meaning so that is the way you should type everything out. And if you must joke people tend to put jk at the end to let others know.

Maybe I will. XD I don't have it with me though, it's in Steven's garage. It doesn't have a shape though, because it's so incredibly large. I could easily fit two people in there and still have room. It's also really long, so maybe after we're done taking it all in I'll post some progress!

I've got the panels cut out and nice and ironed out and I'm about to sew on the front panels to the zippers. :3 I even have a stronger thread to use for the zippers this time so my seams won't keep ripping like they did last year... haha. :D

As I said in another thread. We're gonna try going down to Rose City Textiles tomorrow to get industrial size zippers to attach to our coats. They don't answer their phone, so there's no way of knowing if they actually have different sized zippers or not. But a friend that's been there multiple times said they've seen all different gauges of zippers, so. We need them before we can continue working, cause we have to take in the jackets. x.x;

The makeup looks wonderful and so does your wig. The brooch is hard to see. All I can tell is that it's gold...
And the shirt looks good, but I'm not sure what look you're going for. It makes you look very formal, and doesn't seem right. Reminds me of a butler or pirate...

@ neko: Well for the shirt it's really what'll work well. That white shirt is my only what shirt, that I have. I think a white one I have laying about also has shorter sleeves that aren't puffy. It's full costume has black slacks at fit sort of tight with knee-high black boots. It's like a twist between Sora's black Christmas town outfit and a "vampire" costume Roxas wears in a fanart. Sort of. But not exactly. I wanted it to look more like Sora's really, but I don't think I can close the jacket. I might be able to x_X I know it closes, but staying closed with the two pins at the base is another matter. As for the brooch, it is hard to see cause it's teeny xD It's a gold bell with little gems around it for grass & flowers.

Hoorah. I love Kingdom Hearts and have been wanting to do a cosplay of a character for a long time. I'm cosplaying Final Form Sora. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to style the wig OR make his shoes. I have base shoes (my boyfriend gave me some old ones and they're huge on me...) but I don't know what to do now. I also should be getting a sufficient wig soon (courtesy of e-bay). Any suggestions?

so I'm working on kairi right now, and I'm so happy with her. I got the needle a lot closer to the zipper than I did the last time, so less of the black is viewable, and it looks better. :3 i'm really excited.
I think I might be able to finish her tonight, but if I don't I'll work on her tomorrow while I drool all over myself from the novacaine (getting wisdom teeth pulled) but either way she'll be done by the end of the week. YAY!

I'm going as KH2 Kairi. My hair will be too long but I need it for another cosplay I'm doing (and I'm currently anti-wig cause of my hair length),but will be the right color at least!
The progress on my dress is amazing. I think the only things left to do (as my mom is sewing it) is finishing the facing, attatching the white undershirt and the hood! On the dress anyway... I still need to deal with the belt and the bag. I got the shoes and paint for the shoes. Going to paint those this weekend. My boyfriend is making me the keyblade. I'm just doing the flowery accessories and the charm.
I'm excited. Especially since it took me FOREVER to find the perfect salmony-pink fabric that wasn't too orange or pink. (or fleece, or duck cloth or dress lining!)

K-Rock-InC, what are you using to paint your shoes with? I used spray paint on mine xD They look pretty good, if not a little funky from being spray painted. I need to break them in now. I'm also looking forward to seeing all of the Kairi's! xD I'll be easy to spot... the Kairi with a huge phoenix tattoo on her back. My dress turned out pretty good too!

I used fabric paint that I found at joann's. really cheap and it was able to cover up the really dark bleach stains from when my friend tried to bleach it. they're all done and drying right now, and I just need to sew the tongue to the shoe so they'll be easier for me to wear. =3 i'm about to get started on the belt after dinner. 8D

Cool. I just need to paint the soles black and my shoes are done. I had to stop working on my costume for the evening as my tailor (mom xD) had stuff to do tonight besides sew costumes. I hope to start working on my bag tomorrow, need to get wire for the belt loop things though. D: I couldn't find any oblong rings at Joanns or Hancock. But that is a good idea about sewing the tongue to the shoe...

This one piece keeps veering off to the side and won't sew straight, I'm getting miffed at it. lol but the first one I did looks pretty good so I'm going to keep trying. I'm hoping to finish soon ish so I can get some sleep and then call up my friend and take some pictures of it. :3

The problem with the white shoe laces, other than me having to cut them off... is that I have to put them on AFTER I put on the shoes themselves so the pants can be flat and not puffed at the knee..... But I think long ribbon should be ok cause it'll show better the difference between the shoes & pants @.@

i just have the pouch flap to do, find some snaps and smaller purple ribbon and it's done. I was quite happy that my machine decided to comply today. >3< I think I'm going to finally finish the shoes, and cut out the pieces for the flap, sew the pouch to the belt piece, and glue the lining to the flap pieces and call it a night.
tomorrow i'll go out to joann's and find some snaps that will work and the smaller ribbon. :3 yay for things coming together!!!

Actually, if it's not pouring, but rather just sprinkling, I'm pretty sure it'd be okay to still do the shoot outside. I've learned that wigs don't get ruined easily, and that if they get wet, they'll be fine, so long as you aren't scrubbing at them.

I think your reaction intimidated me for a few hours afterwards... but then again. I'm also "intimidated" by your cosplay skills. ^_^ I can't wait until I get better... actually, I do seem to do better each year :D
Also, you were the 2nd person I accosted like that at the con. Saturday morning I opened the door cause I thought I heard a girl walking by and said "excuse me, do you know how to put on wigs?" xD She did and helped me.
Then I did it again to someone one else on Sunday cause I couldn't find the girl who originally helped me. xD

Aw don't be too intimidated! Our Organization coats were brand new this convention, and were actually finished during the con, since they needed a few more touchups. We agreed that we looked really intimidating in them. x.x;

I loved your coats... but xD the one thing I loved about my Axel's coat was it was so fuzzy molestable. x3 You all looked less intimidating at the wig panel you did! :D Which was AMAZING btw... in fact xD I'm already planning my wig for next year. lol

I'm not going to say that I stalked Sayda photos or anything... buuuut I did. xD Sayda's Axel eye line things are very distinctive compared to all of the other Axel's I've seen. Made it easy.
Also one thing I've learned: LIQUID EYELINER DX I hated using my friends regular eye liner to draw on his lines for Axel since we didn't have a sharpener... I'm having him invest in the liquid stuff.

I was the Axel with the Roxas, to narrow it down a little we were both in Organization coats. X3
@Neko - Haha, thanks! The makeup is actually a hassle to apply, and I can't stand applying the triangles, they're tits most of the time. The makeup actually takes me the longest to get ready for. It takes me anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour. D8

So Laurie and I are going to be taking Kairi/Tifa & Marluxia/Zexion pictures tomorrow (Not pairing pictures... just regular ones) and I'm really stoked to get some actual good shots of my in Kairi. I didn't get very many good ones at the KH photoshoot which really depressed me... *sigh*
