Title: Anyone Check the Oregonian?

September 24'ths edition of The Oregonian "How We Live" section has a huge article about a girl who lost alot of weight...interesting thing is all of her pictures are from Kumoricon 2008! Did anyone else see this article today?

I read the article last night at work, also thought it was pretty neat with the kcon thing. I wonder if she is on the board and will see this

That's really cool.  I'm always happy when people improve their healthy so drastically.  At one point, I weighed around 210lbs.  I think I got down to 145-147lbs for awhile.  Currently, I'm around 155lbs (I've gained a few pounds because I'm on a bulking diet -- trying to add muscle mass.)

I was thinking of starting a thread on here to discuss weight and health, maybe post a few before/after pictures.  But 1) I'm kind of shy about my old overweight pictures 2) I don't want it to seem like I'm full of myself or something. ^_^;  Of course, if anyone would be interested in participating in a thread like that, I could start it up (I do always see people mentioning how they want to lose 10-15lbs for that one cosplay they want to do.) ^_^;

Anyways, really cool story.  Anyone know if she posts here? ^_^

Yeah I kind of assumed that too .. but what if she's an infrequent forum visitor?  A shy lurker?  Or or or ..... I dunno.  ???
