I want to go as Quina from FFIX and need help making the costume--especially having it so that the tongue will move!

a few years back I did a similar complex costume.....for the tongue....you'll have to be a little creative but the best thing I could recomend for something "life-like" is to first create some sort of mold of the tongue...then pour either Acrylic Monomer -Traditional Method of use: Put the desired amount of powder into a glass container. Drop in activating liquid until the slurry is wet. Cover and let it set for three minutes. Pour into the mold. (I would recomend this one the most) or a Premium Non-Ammonia Latex - Very high quality latex. Non-ammonia formula makes it safer for use on skin. Very popular for beard-work. This low shrinkage formula can also be used for mold-making. I like to use it for fake skins because it's easy to use, is inexpensive and it's natural color suggests human skin.............i'm including the links for both...you can purchase these online or perhaps at a local costume shop...the Acrylic Monomer may be a bot harder to find...but it'll give you that pink tongue look you want.
If you browse this site enough you may find other options that'll help...as far as sewing that I could only help in person....but I'm fairly good with hair and makeup tips....
