Hmm, tea cup set. That implies just the cups, right? Not a kettle or saucers, just the cups? I'd buy a set, depending on what anime, of course. I'd probably pay up to $10 (as a set is usually 4 cups, right?).

i have a tea set and it was 25 so i would pay around 20-50 if it was the anime i really love and was really hard to find

Depends on the tea set and if it has the correct number of cup ;)
at a con... $20 for a simple set
but on a very rare occasion I paid $70 for a hand made specialty tea set of porcelain with clouded glaze and gold detailing...

In that case, I'd pay a pretty penny, probably anywhere from $25-40, again, depends on the anime though.

and i really think single cups would sell good.
there will definitely be people who don't wanna pay that much for a set,
but would easily pay around $6 or 7 for a single cup. <3

I agree completely with the single cup idea, maybe make the teapots separate too and just give a small discount for buying a full set worth?

The anime idea is cute, but I am more interested in original work. Selling cups and pots separately is a grand idea plus offering a special price for the set would be cool too.
