yeah I got my Temari headband there but it doesn't work really well on the forehead. Plus it is very very expensive....it was about $15 they have the ones that are good for your forehead at Unique Imports (the metal is thinner)

Well The Website Said The SHeeting thats turned out to be styrafoam o.o (bad spelling) >.< so i got a few lage sheets of that and some plastic tubeing for the rest of the wings and some rope like material thats kind of bendable that i can put through the tubes =D

The only problem for me is im not smart so i cant figure out were and when pannels are gonna be and they make the sceduals all funny (side ways this year) so i got confused and missed every event >.<

That's intense XD We were on the train for a really long time... like a whole day thanks to delays, and I did sleep for plenty of it, but it's the motion that upsets the stomach, and so it'd be like that whether I was awake or asleep. Peppermints help a lot though!

The clay is really hard to keep it's shape before going into the oven. There is a way that I could try to make the spider but if I do there would only be one. I would have to cook the legs first then attach them to the body and cook it again.

Are you making them all out of the same piece of clay, or making the body and the wings separately, then attaching them before baking? If you're making them in two pieces, that might be why they're breaking off. :/

I am making them then attaching them before they bake....but I know what the problem is now. I was smoothing out the base so no lines would show and since I was doing that it was taking away from the support of the rest of the wings, so I guess there will have to be lines at the base of the wings, but it still doesn't look that bad.

Its gonna be alot harder for me a second time I think I messed up my good hand and its wraped up >.< I think I did pretty good on the first one cuz even tho it was made of wire hangers, cardbored, tape, paper and glue it still turned out perfect XD

Hopefully. But this one I'll have to put in garage cuz if I put it out in the liveing room the cats will get it and if I put it in my room it melts part of the tape (room 90 at all times ^^)

If the torso starts to deform in warm conditions, you might want to consider substituting something else for the tape. It can get kinda warm in crowded rooms at the con, and the last thing you'd want is your costume melting. o.O

KFC, you might need to prime the torso before painting it. You might also want to sand it just a tiny bit. Just a light once-over with a fine sandpaper, then a coat of primer.
Also, are you letting the paint dry completely before applying another coat? That might be why it's cracking. And to avoid runs, just put on one light coat, let it dry, then put on more coats until you get the right thickness. And paint it while it's lying flat if you can. If not, paint from the top down so if it drips while you're working, you can just smooth it out.

Mine is about 80-90% done. I had to cut open the back of it and make it like a corset kind of. I have the last swords and the normal sword to do along with the main cloak thingy (im doing the other version of sasori btw >_>). Oh and I also Sealed up all the holes for the rope and other heart place so I just need to repaint the heart and stick it in there then thats all I have to do =]

Ah well I wun be wearing the same thing every day XD And the rest of my cosplays eather hide there hair or have a wig already styled for them =3 so when my hair drys out from the shower and I get it set up all you have to do is use hair spray cuz my hair is already like Sasori's cuz it curls a bit =3
Yah I'll be at the naruto photoshoot as Sakon then our photoshoot as regular Sasori (heavy heavy props x.x)

Lets see I know amber is gonna help me carry my kyo bag but that would be Id have to be by her every second (Inhailer is always in the bag >_>) And I never really bring water with me. And food depending were we go Id eat right away when I sit down. XD -has everything worked out- So anyway.....I have alot of the swords done but now that my hand has healed from the last sword. I just need to figure out how to make that round part at the top of it >_>

Well if the wig hit it, it could infect it considering its gonna be at the top of my ear....And id still feel guilty eather way and id put you through alot of trouble cuz id only be Sasori for 1-2 hours. I think id be better off takeing pics for everyone if needed, Or helping makeing small detailed props or something.

is it that necessary to get a piercing that's going to cause so much trouble? can't it wait until AFTER you cosplay Sasori?
and peircings are practically ALWAYS going to get infected no matter how hard you try, so I wouldn't let that stop you from getting a wig.

The only thing is that its eather get it durring my b-day or pay like $80 to do it myself. Sides I dont make a good Sasori anyway let alone have anyone willing to help me put on a wig at 4am. So im better off just takeing pics anyway sence I have more cosplays then the days im at the con. So far ive had my lip, lobe and tounge peiced before...im smart enuff for them not to get infected. :/
Also, even if I have a wig that still leaves the matter of the horribly oversized cloak (reminding you I only have $10 to spend at both cons)

Yeah that wouldn't be to fun. You should set it for a con now and determine that you aren't going to do any other costume other than those two or something. That is what I would do ;D
