OK, everyone! Come on in here, and talk about the songs you sung during KumoriCon's Karaoke time!
Starting with me. I had to do it, but I was there twice, singing Starship's Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now. It is one of my fave songs from the 1980s, because it has a very strong optimistic message. I think I might have this song played at my wedding. :D
-
I was too shy/lazy to sing in the room, but I sang/lip synced a few times right outside the door on my favorite songs |D
.... Though that was a little rude of me ._.; eheh... *apologized to some of the people once they left the room* ^^;;;
-
I did x/////x I sang Gravity from Wolf's Rain... I was soooo nervous, but everyone said I did well XD
Despite not really knowing the words x_x
-
Of course I sung. Besides my epic failures during the Karaoke Contest, here is what I sung.
Ready Steady Go
Sora Iro Days
God Knows
Lost My Music
Hare Hare Yukai
Did some sing-a-longs on the side with Haru with his Korean songs and some other various anime songs.

I meant to sing in the Open Mic, but was too spazzy and forgot. D:
:3 However, I DID remember to sing at the Karaoke Idol. I sang 'Shangri-La,' from Soukyuu no Fafner. *A* ngnskldjglksj That song feels so, so, SO good on one's vocal cords.
;_; I did want to sing some Mermaid Melody at open mic, and some Higurashi music...Maybe School Days if there was any...

I appreciate that so hard.
Absolutely NOTHING to do with anime, but a great, solid song. :D
I'm glad you got to sing that. (I didn't see it, though.)
As for me, I had my first con karaoke experience. I got roped into doing the opening theme to Gravitation with two Ryuichis and a Shuichi, because I was dressed as Tohma. I decided to be a backup dancer and stay away from the mic, where my potentially poor singing would not be heard over the two singing at the mics. :D Fun times. I actually hadn't heard the song in a long time...
-
I sang. XD
Yeah I was the Idol contestant that bit her tongue doing Ma Yi Ja Ba from Nerima Daikon Brothers.
And then I sang a song from one of the Card Captors movies at the open mic.
-
i was in a dull mood so i did terribly for the hybrid contest, but for the rest of the days i rocked the house in the few times i appeared in the karaoke room xD on the 3rd day i think i had to go on stage when people were doing nittle grasper songs because technically, they're my songs xD i did smashing blue as my last song which by then i had begun to lose my voice lol
-
David and I sang "colors" by FLOW on saturday! :D
Well I sang most of it...he just wanted to sing the epic "jibun wo!" part XD
then he broke out in the pokemon song while I was singing colors still LOL

I sang Still Doll from VKN. Dx
I was kinda wierded out because the lyrics weren't the right version and I think i kinda gasdfjlkasiuafed my japanese a bit. =_=;
-
I sang still doll with my friend sam. I didn't do that well since I was afraid/shy and I was losing my voice from yelling all weekend. so I kept cracking. :-\
-
I sung a buncha songs but they didn't have some songs I wanted so I was completely disappointed T_T
-
I sang....
Some Miku song with another Miku, she knew the lyrics, I just vocalized...
I think I would up taking the stage when somebody needed a third for 'Ready Steady Go', and maybe one another song...
I was the REALLY LOUD girl who sang 'Raion', last opening theme to Blood+ plus, by band Jinn.
It was the short version, and the lyrics were the long versions, and it wasn't kareoke, so I was kind of sad. I waited a long time, just for tv version!?
I was happy with my singing though, so often in kareoke, people are so quite you can't hear them, not me, I was super loud.
-
agree-d lip-synching is kind of annoying personally i would rather hear bad singing over no singing if its karaoke
-
Not even lip-syncing!
Just not being loud enough to hear. People need to learn to project.
Also @Ryu-chan, last year, you made my friends Kumori-con, I think. She was so happy to run into a singing Gravi-boy.
-
xD yay~ thanks! wish i knew someone who was kickass on the keyboard so they could dress as tohma lol, then we could perform at the park xD
-
Didn't sing as much as I was intending, but did do Pokemon Johto and A Whole New World, as well as the Heathcliff theme.
-
I only sang open-mic on early Sunday morning. I used the 1st OP of Eureka Seven, but I instead sang the lyrics to Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up." In other words, I Eurekroll'd the audience.
-
I sang a little when they were setting up on friday kimi no tabe ni dekiru koto, cuz its me and my honeys song and i could sing it with out lyrics cuz they didnt have them up yet.
tho that was about it, cuz later when i went in I asked to see how long the list is (it can get pretty long song times i know) to give me an idea of the wait and the preson in charge just laughed in my face, and after that I really didn't feel like singing anymore
I did go out to rumors for my birthday party
-
Another person who roll'd somebody!
I wanted to do it with karaoke, but I didn't. Still, in the dealers room I just randomly decided that I was never going to give some guy in a birthday/wizard hat up.
I need the footage of that...
-
I Sang
Eyes On You - Final Fantasy 8 * But I got lost while singing, because I suck at following the music without the Vocals. Thank you girls that were there helping me with it I was kind of :-[ for messing that song up when I know it!!
and I sang Life Is a Boat From Bleach, I did really good on that one n_n.
-
I only went to the open mic one day and sung D-tecnolife by vuerwould (sorry if i spelled that wrong) it was fun and the people there were really nice ;D
-
i entered the idol contest with "god knows" and had technical difficulties with my costume, haha. XD
otherwise i dropped in once towards the end of sunday night and sang "platinum" from cardcaptor sakura. :3
it was fun to sing in front of people again, although i was terribly nervous.
-
I sang during open mic, on sunday. I sang "Higurashi no naku koro ni" from ....Higurashi no naku koro ni lol I sung it with another girl. It was fun ^_^ BTW @ the person who sung Gravity, LOL I remember that cuz when I walked by the room, I sung it XD I love that song ^_^ Next year I'm planning on doing Taishou.a from Higurashi no naku koro ni kai, I've been practicing:D hopefully your ears won't fall off...O o
