Hi guys! Recovering nicely from this year's con? ;)
I just wanted to get some feedback from anyone who had interactions with the maid squad (or didn't but wanted to)! How'd the maids do? Any suggestions/criticisms, etc?
And to those of you who volunteered when we asked you to on the spot at the con, thanks for helping out! <3

The maid squad performed above and beyond my wildest expectations. Always friendly and always willing to help. You all made the con a great place to be. AND saved my yojimbo soooo much work :)

The thing I liked best about the Maid squad is that people just showed up and on whim decided to help the maid squad. I thought that was really cool.
Also, thanks for plugging the host club tix for us :)

Hi I was cosplay Ryomu Shimei for the Maid Squad (blue dress, blue hair, eyepatch). I helped out Saturday. I hope I was of some help to holding signage, lines, directing people and stuff (because people were very confused that day). If you'd like me to return let me know.
Thanks for liking my costume, or at least certain aspects of it...lol

I think the "end of the line" signs were a fabulous idea, and it was good to see trays of water being offered to people in the reg lines. Great job maid squad!!

i think the best thing about you guys is that you seem to attempt a cheery mood when dealing with line business, unlike (it seems) the yojimbo. i know you serve a slightly different purpose, but its much easier to listen to someone asking, even yelling politely than not.

Thank you Maid Squad! You were all great this year, and the offering water/bathroom breaks was a great service. You all made the lines much more bearable and even enjoyable. :)

You guys were incredible this year! You all lined up neatly and even our biggest fiasco as far as lines go was easily handled! Let's hear it for the congoers! YAY!

The Maid Squad was absolutely awesome this year. =D Beaming with win, and practically coating the atmosphere with an aura of happy. I think every con needs you all.
I must note that it seemed that there was one maid, who I can only assume was part of the maid squad, who appeared to have "lost a stick somewhere" you could say and was took things a bit too seriously, less offering a cheery attitude to lines, and more attempting to drill-sergeant her way about. Could have been someone else though, as I didn't care to address that situation and ruin my good times. ^_~
Beyond that, the maid squad's attitude really made me feel as though I should've left a tip at the door, as it was just icing on the con cake.

Maid squad is always fantastic and you were very entertaining during the charity auction.

Maid squad was AWESOME. Best line coordination efforts I have seen at a con. The signs were nice and readable and the attitude of the maids themselves was great. Also, you were HIGHLY amusing at the auction Gia. Helping to hype up the items and get the bids higher was great.

I really do love the maid squad for all it does and that over 90% of the people in the maid squad are not even staff. and even then some are not official Volunteers.
though as a light rant about them. MORE MORE MORE!!! please please recruit more people! if you want to join this elite trained squad please contact the maid squad manager and get all set up to be a apart of it. the more people in the squad. the more we can have around the convention, and the shorter the shifts can be. making sure that they stay happy go lucky.

Maid squad was absolutely wonderful!! Although as a VIP the only real interaction I had was the Auction and to ask how to cut the line. But thanks to all the maids that kept this con in some semblance of order because the Yojimbo were defiantly not helping in that regard.

I will say that all of the maids that I interacted with were very pleasant and helpful. Especially when bringing water out to the con goers who were in the registration line during the hot parts of the day. Definitely a big thumbs up to all those who participated in it and definitely should be a thing to keep in future cons.

You guys did awesome this year! :D As part of the post registration staff, you made so that almost every person who came to me; was happy and hydrated.
I had a couple unhappy Moms that complained about long the lines were....I just apologized and mentioned for them to pre-reg for next year.

Yep, They did great at showing off the stuff and throwing candy without hitting anyone in the eyes. That's always a plus. Also, I think them wearing some of the products bumped up the value. That's totally not creepy no >.>

I know what you mean, i was the auctioneer and when there was a a second shirt i laided it against one of the maids and wisperd (it goes for more money if your wearing it)
does that make me bad ?

It's for a good cause, so I think it was totally justified :p. I would only be scared if the people who got it wore it every day and never washed it again or hung it up on their wall or something

Is maid not a staff position? Because I think they should be allowed to be staff if they want to be.

^ I don't know I doubt there is an age limit as they are volunteers. You should just sign up, I think Gia was passing around a sign up at k-lite
Speaking of k-lite it was nice to see favorite maid Gia again :)

Overall the maids were wonderful and awesome!!!!! they really helped me alot (was my first con) :D
For next year it would be nice if on the end of line signs we could have which line it was (aka pre reg line, not reg line). I was a end of line maid, and i had a ton of people really angry that they waited in the other line for X amount of time and then were told they were in the wrong line.
