As the title says... Occasionally when I try to post in a topic, I'll get redirected to the main Kumoricon page. Not the forums home, the site. I think my posts have always gone through, but I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this, or if there's a reason why?
I use Vista, and the most recent edition of Internet Explorer if that makes a difference at all.

I had a few problems like that, but navigating earlier O-o
It must be the site acting up or something... *shrug*

That's been happening to me every so often too. I think the forums are just getting clogged and it is harder for the server to function. That's my guess. I don't expect it to get better until a couple weeks after the con, heh.
But yeah, it can be bothersome.

yeah that's been happening to me a lot lately. I get it when I try to click on a thread too. not every time but sometimes.

Yes, this is a server load issue, and results when the current process cannot be completed.
As usual with any Internet form on any site, it's a good idea to save on your computer the contents of any text submitted prior to posting, in case it is lost in transit. (Even if our servers were perfect, other circumstances outside of your and our control could cause loss of data--power loss, loss of connectivity in between the two servers, browser crash, etc.)

Happens to me sometimes as well, all you have to do is refresh the page and it goes back to the page you wanted. Though if you're trying to post it's a good idea to copy whatever you're posting just in case anyway.

well when this does happen to me I usually just go back a page and the text I had entered is still there. then I just re-hit submit and what not.

This keeps happening to me, but only since con.
There have been several times today I believed I'd successfully posted, particularly in the Yojimbo thread, only to find out the post hadn't actually registered.

I'm going to do a minor threadjack and point out another problem I've had. When I go speedspamming in the spam forums, and get under the 15-second limit, I hit back, and it won't let me do anything like resubmit a few seconds later. I have to back all the way out of the topic, then go back in and do it all over again. Is the a SMF thing, or another server issue?
