The first general meeting in August will be held on Sunday, August 3 from 1pm-5pm at our hotel, the Doubletree Portland-Lloyd Center, in the same room as the July meeting.
Both remaining general meetings until the convention will be held at the hotel.

Like all general meetings, it is open to the public. General meetings are intended for potential and current staff and volunteers. There will be department reports and news updates, and breaking into groups where people can meet and plan.

Gotta ask -- will there be internets? Otherwise, I very much enjoyed Tom's vids, and I can get my questions to my Director ahead of time. But Skype would be nice.

I had strong, free wifi internet and power sitting right outside the doorway of this room at the last meeting.

Now that I am living / working at the Buddhist Retreat Center, I probably can't make either meeting, but will try to get our Fanfic Coordinator, Fan Art Coordinator, and my Assistant there. I think everything is pretty much set as far as Creation Station? Please let me know via PM if I am mistaken?
Did we find anything out regarding projectors and screens?
And will we have free internet access in the CS?

I am going to be there an hour early to show people around the hotel. If we are lucky i'll be able to contact David and the hotel staff so we can take a look at the EMC as well.
Either way, meet me up front at noon if you want a little tour of the space. :D

youtube's uploader was messing with me so some of the videos were loaded out of order. I'll get the numbering fixed soon. At the moment Part 1 and 3 were switched.

I think watch part 2 first, then part 1 then part 3 and it straightens out after that.
Oh -- and the things we cannot auction off is Booze and People (not technically written down, but we'd need a license for booze and slavery is illegal).

OK, the numbers are finally in order. Whew!
Also.... I left my Pocky club papers and pens at the meeting. Anybody pick those up?
I'm kind of worried because there were emails on the sign up sheet. :-[
