Who all here is interested in a photo shoot for general R.P.G. characters? I've seen so many people cosplay as R.P.G. characters, that it surprises me that general R.P.G. shoot haven't become a common thing at cons, so I plan to start holding them at future cons and would like to hold one at this year's Kumoricon as well.

last year during the final fantasy vii battle i guess someone summoned darth vader into the battle... i think i remember him running around there, it was pretty epic ^.^

that would be awesome. People tend to get way into character at cons, that is one reason it is so much fun.

If we're gonna have various RPG characters doing battles, it'd be a good idea for everyone cosplaying as an RPG character to post who they plan to cosplay as. That way, we could come up with some great battle ideas well in advance. I plan to cosplay as Judas from Tales of Destiny 2.

I've come up with a few ideas that'd be interesting if there'll be anyone cosplaying as these characters. The ideas are:
Moogle vs. Chocobo
Kefka vs. Sephiroth
Vincent vs. Yuffie
Tifa vs. Aeris

They sure are. Any character from any role playing game is fair game.

Are we actually going to have a Kefka Palazzo this year? That would make for a great face-off with Sephiroth. Kefka pretty much is the predecessor to all that Sephiroth is, after all, heh.
And we need to get a Cactuar in there somewhere. Cactuar vs. Chocobo vs. Tonberry vs. Moogle in a Final Fantasy Smash Bros. Brawl! lol

cactuar vs. tonberry? Also would be epic. I think the tonberry would win......maybe not cactuars are so damn fast >_<
I killed one once in ffX and I didn't need to fight anything for several trips to the item shops. I also gained like five levels.

Well, I havent officially decided when, but if everyone wants a RPG photoshoot, I could always do it on that day, since I'm not part of any specific cosplay groups this year.

I will probably end up wearing one costume for this shoot and then rushing back to the room, changing to the other and heading to the Final Fantasy Photoshoot. I think I'll wear my Azul for this one. Would anyone object to me cosplaying as a Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus character for this? Anyone think it doesn't count as an RPG?

We could do that, one of each, heh. (Though we both know you'd be the real victor ^_^ ), Azul is big and strong, but slow; Albel looks nimble and probably pretty swift and agile, so you could probably beat me no problem. Tie my shoes together with your speed and have me trip and look silly, lol.

That is one of Albel's many talents. He can do this continuous attack till his stamina runs out, top that with MP damage and he can take down an enemy before his stamina runs out ;D

That's pretty fancy. I'm gonna check that game out whenever I get my Playstation back up and working properly.
So, it's looking like I'm gonna be in the park for the better part of three hours.....I hope I don't die, lol. I am gonna be there for three photo shoots back to back, with just a little time between the last two when I go back and change. That's gonna be one packed afternoon, lol.

Did you get my suggestions about her boots? I think you could use uggs (or fake ones), they come in pink and if that doesn't work you can always paint them ^_^

I looked for sonme uggs, but they are much tooo expensive for my budget and time frame. I totally swung it and made them out of cardboard...

Haha, they make me laugh, cuz when I walk, they jiggle, but if you stand next to me, I tend to move nervously when still and you can hear them squeek. I'm sure they have much more personality then ugg boots. Haha.

Since the con's only a few days away, we should do a roll call of all the costumes we'll be wearing to the shoot. That way, we'll have time to come up with some ideas for character battle ideas. I'll be cosplaying as Judas from Tales of Destiny 2.

Where was everyone? I went into the park and didn't find anyone there.

I was near the entrance hoping it would stop raining. I couldn't go out in the rain in my costume. I kept watching the park seeing if people were showing up but I didn't see any organized group, so I assumed it was canceled.

I'll schedule this shoot in the future, but in the future, I'll make sure we have a back-up plan in case this happens again.
It definitely sucked that it rained at that time.

It couldn't have been more inconvenient. It rained exactly from 12:00 to 1:00pm, right when there were supposed to be two epic shoots back to back. Usually I love the rain, but that was just mean, heh.

I would have gone, but in the Tales of... shoot right before, I was pretty much pushed out and unphotographed(Shirley is SO unloved), and I didn't want to waste my time hanging around watching more popular characters being photographed. 8D;;;
Plus it was raining, which none of us imagined would happen. Seriously, 10-20% chance both of the days it did rain...
