The nice thing about my mother, is that she would NEVER drive into Portland to pick me up from anything, she hasn't been to Portland in years. She'd tell me to find a ride home, or I wasn't going.
But that's before I one day suddenly became 'responsible'.

Yeah the dance was fun (though I didn't do much dancing). I was glad to meet cosplayers on a more personal level than at a convention (in big groups I have a rule about no speaking). It was very nice seeing all the superb costumes and I especially loved all the hugs I got. Akamaru loves hugs!and then you were at rocky afterwards ^^

The dance was fantastic, even though I was late. I met so many great people, and danced like a spaz! I was the Maid GothLoli.
And I smuggled delicious cake home, and ate cu-cu-cum-cu-cu-cum-cu-cu-cum-cu-cum-ber!~ (Sorry, to much IOSYS for me.)
Also, I heard about a picnic next Saturday? Where do I get more information?

Congrats, Rose.Heh; I bike 70 minutes to get into Portland; totally worth the $4 I save each day by not driving.
I'm rather averse to driving. I'd be one of those funky cyclers you see around Portland, but I'm soo far out...in the urban growth boundary line. The gas prices are going to terrible (although the recent drop is refreshing, but still, far too high), so terrible my family makes jokes (or not?) about getting a motorcycle.
