Title: Trying to get the jrock band MUCC to come to Oregon.

They were on Taste of Chaos" and she was like "Yes and I found your CD under the door, we'll give it a listen and forward it to our tour bookers and see what they can do, but there's a bit of a line of people playing in the coming months, so we can't promise anything" and I was like "Well they're back in Japan right now anyway, but if you could bring them to Portland at all that would be just awesome."

and request that they consider having MUCC!

The guy who manages the Roseland called me back, he apparently liked the CD that I slipped under the door. I realized that I didn't have alot in the way of actual contact info for the band, so I gave him the number for Fontana Distribution (who has ties to Universal, the lable which MUCC is on), and the URL for the MUCC main page, he's actually serious about having the band come to Portland Oregon if he can get ahold of somebody with connections to the band. I mentioned that they were on the Taste of Chaos tour (which only went to Seattle) and that they wanted to come back to the USA for a Headliner. Perhaps he has connections to Kevin Lyman and he could contact him? And also he said if they did have MUCC, they would make it all ages the same as Diru was.

Btw, if any of you have Myspace, could you PLEASE do me a favor and add comments to MUCC's blog asking them to come to OR? I kinda feel like the only one on their blog asking them to come here... Your added comments (and direct messages to them) would be appreciated and further help the cause.

For what it's worth... my friend saw them in Seattle and told them the next time they need to come to Portland. :P

If you have a Myspace, please go there and post a comment asking that MUCC remember to come to PORTLAND OREGON this time, if they do come back for a full Headlining Tour in the USA. You do not need to friend them to leave the comment, but I would appreciate that the comment mention PORTLAND OREGON somewhere in it. Post to the top of the blog by clicking "Reply To" underneathe the topmost comment. Don't use "Add Comment" because then it will go to the bottom or the last page. I'd do it myself, but I'm trying to avoid the two trolls on there (Uchi and Karen) and not let them know the new PDX MUCC Page exists... that and it looks better if I'm not the only Portlander leaving these requests. Sometimes I feel like the only one in Portland who wants them to come... u.u
