Title: Looking for Con Volunteers who joined us at the last minute

We're you a regular con goer that decided to step up to the plate and put in some major hours volunteering to help the con?  Are you in the Eugene area or can you be in the Eugene area on the evening of Friday, 9/17.

If so, please send me a private message telling me who you are and what you did.  Even if you weren't planning on officially being staff, but spent a lot of time with a red security ribbon or on other duties, we'd like to invite you to a special event.

makes me wish i was in eugene.  Im in portland LOL.  but i DID volenteer at the last possible moment and was security for all 3 days of the con.  good fun stuff :)  I SOOOOOOO WANNA DO THAT AGAIN!

Yea Understand that, I am a little closer sence I live in Salem, but I don't drive so that makes things just a little more complicated.

I do like driving and that is the last weekend before school starts, hmmmmm It may take a little bit of talking me into it, but I might go.

so this is for the staff meeting thats happening at that time? or just a meeting in general... i was the only minore with a security ribbon on... i live in portland but i think trimet goes to eugene... i will look into it and then tell ya if i can get to whatever is up there... at which point in time i would PM you.

No it's not a staff meeting.  I don't know who all of the volunteers were, so as I said I'd need to you who you are, what you did and who you reported to in a Private Message if you think you could make it at that time.  I need to double check with the person you helped out, just in case.  Once I do that, I can PM you back with details.

All I'm going to say is that it's a fun thing in the evening, and I thought I'd extend the invitation to the "volunteer-volunteers" that pretty much ended up doing as much as staff and the regular volunteers at the con.  Unfortunately, I don't have a list to go by or I would have just emailed.

I am offering an open anime day/night sundays at my place, anyone intrested message me!

That goes for every one in portland not just us las minute volenteers at Kumoricon!

spindrift: how late will you be going? i wouldn't be able to arrive til about midnight, since i work in eugene til 10pm many sundays. but if you're having all night marathons, i'd love to come. what are you showing?

I wish I could go all night but I have school in the morning but I could start the night before on saturday.  I just thought sunday would work for more people than not.  

I accutaly don't have that many titles:
Box set of the Cowboy Bee bop
first dvd of Inu Yasha: down the well
1&2 dvd of Lain
Orginal Tenchi Muyo

I know its a sad collection but its a start, crack is cheeper.

Every who shows up is welcome to bring their own anime I have an DVD player and  VCR.  

I have one sofa but plenty of carpet  :!:

Oh yeah this is happening in portland! East Portland near 136th & E. Burnside St.  sorry if I didn't say that before!  But anyone is invited.... this is really me just wanting to meet other otaku in the area and share and so that the people  that are going to be doing the staff thing for next years Kumoricon (like me I hope) can do something other than work together.

I just want to make sure people who went above and boyond the call of duty as con attendees who can make it to Eugene on that day and are not on any official mailing lists or have staff access will see this and ask about the secret Eugene event.

I'd like to see some anime, But I'm sure you'd have to get to know me first. Do you agree?
