I was thinking about meeting up some where near Clackamas. I donno what I was thinking, I just kinda want it to happen. I'm not good at this stuff. But please, If you want we can all get together at some time and walk around? Whatever! Let's talk about it!!!

Well, summer's here now and I'm getting out June 11th so I'll have a lot of time after that.
I know a lot of people will be working during the summer so well have to come up with a good date and time.
I was thinking the Clackamas mall since it's like the biggest thing here...

I would be game for that. I really want to meet a lot of new people before the con so I can have some people to hang out with if I need to. I will have a bunch of my friends going but I may want a break from them.

Well... if you read the SUMMER!! thread in the chatterbox, you might know. I'm in Kentucky right now, heading home tomorrow (a day earlier than I expected). On the 30th, I go to dance camp, until July 3rd. Then I'm back home until the 20th, and I have that camp that conflicts with this from the 21st until August 14th. Then I'm being dragged down to California a couple days after I get back, to help my brother move in to his new housing for college and whatnot. I'm there for about a week; I don't know exactly how long I'll be there. But soon after I get back, there's K-con, and then... school. I am very busy this summer. XDD

And I have this whole comflix on wonderflex and what not! XD
I just kinda want to pay someone to make the shinigami claws for me but...if I get it on ebay it's like 160 plus shipping and like....it is made with knifes
so i need to find a way to make it out of wonderflex...but I'm kinda scared to work with it.

Can someone please provide for me a bus route on how to get to Clackamas Town Center? Because I live in Beaverton and I don't know which bus goes to there. I won't be able to make it to the July 10th meetup, but I'll be there for the anime event at the F.Y.E. store on the 27th. Please keep me posted on who's going to the event and who's possibly gonna cosplay, because I don't want to waste my time there for nothing.

i know if you get to downtown you can either take the 14 on 2nd and main through alder go down hawthorne and then at 39th + hawthorne, get off and take the 71 right to the clack... otherwise you can take the max red/blue from downtown till like mmm i think 60th or 82nd and get on the 71 right there if anyone is along that route we can be bus buddys XP

UPDATE: For those of us who are going to the anime spectacular event, there's a bit of contruction getting in the way of some the trimet and MAX train routes:
31-Estacada,
Due to construction, stops on SE Monterey Ave. as well as stops on SE 82nd Ave. between Sunnyside Rd. and Monterey will not be served until further notice. Board buses at Clackamas Town Center.
71-60th Ave/122nd Ave,
Due to construction, trips to and from Clackamas Town Center will be via SE 85th Ave. instead of SE 90th Ave. Buses will not serve the stops on SE 90th Ave. nor the stops on SE Causey Ave. east of 85th Ave. until further notice. Board buses at Clackamas Town Center or on SE Causey at 82nd.
Unless, there's some way to overcome this, we're all gonna kinda late on that day.........

yeah mom still considers it portland but she wont drive me that far twice in one weekend. Unless I slept at a friends house in wilsonvill but then I would still need a ride or to figure out the bus... I dont think I can figure it out though and thats a strong IF...

We will be meeting up at RED MANGO which is OUTSIDE of the mall!
It is NOT inside of the mall! It's located next to Barns and Nobles, OUTSIDE!
We will be meeting at NOON....ish and depending on what everyone wants I'll probably end around 5 [That's when I'm leaving...I think at least]
There is a Trivia and the COSPLAY CONTEST is held at 3 o 'clock.
I'm gonna try and get my simca cosplay done!

I'm bringing two others. One will be in cosplay but I am not sure about the other.....
I guess I'll take a change of clothes seeing how my stomach and most of my thigh will be exposed.....I might get kicked out then I can change and come back in. But I'm guessing since a store is holding this event the security wont do anything unless you are wearing a swimsuit or something. It seems unlikely that the security will kick people out for their costume when a store is holding a contest for that costume.

I decided on my white yin-kitty cosplay from last year... if anyone remembers two little neko twins, the white one was me! My first semi-successful attempt at sewing... before my friend broke it in the glomp circle with Jack Skellington XD

XDD. What's the requirements for the cosplay contest?

I don't know.....be in costume? Sometimes it has to be about 70% made, either by yourself or someone but the most of it needs to be made at home. I'm not sure about this one though. I just found out about it yesterday.

Omg I'm tired....
I was up till 6 working on my costume...
It's near completion but I need to finish boot covers for the rollerskates and um...attach the sailor collar and....make the little sleevy thingies...
Apparently I have to let out the sides...said by my mom...
Hm...anyone still have a long or short pink wig I can use? XD

sorry I have two wigs. One is black and one is jade green, and on top of that I think both are going to be in use during this event.

I ordered my wigs like....a couple days ago so they won't be arriving for at least another week or week and a half..

It's a brand new one that I've been working from 9 yesterday to 6 this morning.
I have to finish it still...

The buss I took back wouldn't stop when I tugged on the line thingy. As a reasult; I walked a mile more then I needed to! T.T
It was amazing; I got the final FMA anime volume! *squees*

not to tired, but ya, my back knda hurts, probly from hunching so much. it was a blast, im a little suprised i won somthing, didnt see it coming, but i knew tamari totaly needed to win somthing. im glad she won the money, heres was realy realy good.

Why thank you. Sorry i was getting edgy at the end. I brought my best friend along and she brought her girlfriend who isn't that into anime and she was bitching the whole time and taking Devin away from all the fun. On top of that I asked my parents to come because this was something I care about and I wanted them to get involved and my mom kept acting like she wanted to go. She has been acting bitchy all week.
Other then that I did have a lot of fun. Between today and the picnic i am wiped. I got home took a shower and went to bed. Thanks for all the comments on the Temari costume, I am very bummed that my Albel was falling apart v.v I'll fix it tomorrow.
The next get together I am planing is going to be Sept 20 and I am thinking about making it required to have a costume. With this much time in advance people should have enough time to get there. It's not like I am going to turn anyone away but I felt like there wasn't enough people cosplaying at the picnic, about half of them where. It should be like 80%
