The following persons have been nominated for Facilities Liaison:

if I remember right someone not on this list could could be appointed, this was just a show of who was at the meeting who others thought would be good for the job.

You are correct. The board appoints the Facilities Liaison. The point of the nominations was mainly to get the staff involved in trying to help us come up with some names of who they think would be qualified for said position.

Oh good, someone already brought that up. I was going to copy/paste the duties of the position before I remembered that it was something that only the board decides.
I would ask though that whoever is appointed be able to coordinate with me soon since I'll be needing to visit the hotel at least once before the next meeting. I need to get some technical information for my maps. Is there someone on the board who I can contact until a new Liaison is announced?
....or that anyone can contact I suppose.
Since Dawn was the interim in November should we talk o her?

Dawn is acting Liaison until a replacement is named. So go ahead and get info to/from her.

So no one else has nominated David? It seems hes been keeping a little hushed up since practically getting nominated for everything in the last rant/rave.... He's totally on top of things and should definitely be nominated for this.

Yes, I did. At the time I had too much going on a work to give the time to the convention that it truly needed. As a result, I stepped down and did what I could to help out the board in the time that I had as well as picked up some extra slack at the convention. At this point work is not crazy anymore, and I have had a bit of a break from managing the con so I can come back fresh. I also helped as Facilities Liaison both at the Hilton and the Redlion as well as run special events for Sakuracon so I am very familiar with what needs to be done and what it is going to take to get it done.
