DATTEBAYO! I know its not the BEST pairing out there but its my favorite and I wanted to know if anyone was going to cosplay for SasuNaru...cuz I am...I'm gonna carry around a sasu plushie in my naru costume......is anyone else doing something like that??

Krow scares me. 0.o But I think it would be kinda interesting to see a Krow there... sorry if I spelled it wrong or something. Well, in the first series, that's about it. But, se is so frickin' amazing in Shippuuden, it's not funny. I think a lot of people cosplay her original series self mostly because they like being there before the big "HOLY CRAP I JUST PUNCHED THE GROUND, BWAHA, TAKE THAT KAKASHI!" thing.

Totally random interruption here, but I'd just like to say that the only reason I like Kabuto is when his catch phrase is "I'm secretly awesome!" from the comic Super Nario Bros. Cuz I so believe it. When I first met him I was like, "That guy is totally cool!" And then when he became a bad guy, I didn't really like him, but still felt he was cool. So yeah. That's my opinion on Kabuto. XD;;
And I think Tsunade's not so much manly as tough. Still a little manly, but there's a difference to me. I do think Temari is pretty manly, though. XD

I'm terrible for resorting to eBay, but I'm afraid that there isn't as many shops online selling the sandals...Those aren't much cheaper....The cosplaymagic ones are...$10....And currently out of stock in all colors. So, I guess you could try it. XD It's not a huge waste of money because of the free shipping. But, you'd have to wait.

They're either size 8, 9, or 10. The japanese shoe system is different. All I know Is I'm an 8 and they're a little big for me. ): I was just wondering if you might want them or not.

Who cares what color the shoes are. Kudos to you for at least not having flipflops or slip ons.
Also, once more RELAX. it's not that big of a deal what fabric type you get as long as it looks food. I suggest just a simple cotton. screw everything else, go for color.
And if you dont want to be naruto anymore, dont.
but please, dont just give up on the con. I was looking forward to seeing you run around hurling paper shuriken.

Aw, don't get all bummed out there... if you're really having a hard time making a costume, you could get one. I have a Shippuden Naruto set, it's well made and it wasn't spendy at all... and the original set is cheaper than that... I think the place I got mine was selling the blue and orange outfit for like $45. And it was crafted well. I ran around in my Chuunin set I got there as well for three days straight and there was no wear and tear.
I know it's not as exicting as making your own but having fun cosplaying as you who want is the more important thing in my opinion. But don't let a little thing like shoes or fabric get you down so you bow out of the con compeletly.
And if you were planning to do Shippuden Naruto... he does wear black shoes at that point. ^^;

I plan on being the orange and blue naruto...
but I don't really care about the color of the shoes as long as there the ninja shoes....there close enough...you know?
and as for paying for a costume...thats really out of the question for me, I can barely get 5 bucks for lunch....
45 is like impossible right now.

Well then for material cotton is probably the best bet. I have a costume I made that's over 5 years old... all out of cotton and it's never had to have any repair work. Plus cotton tends to be pretty cheap.
Good luck. :3 And if you're feeling overwhelmed, just take a step back for a little while. It's only the begining of June, you have plenty of time to get something together.

Well I read the manga mostly and right now I'm kind of getting sick of it. I love Naruto and all but they drag it on a bit too much. Um..some spoilers(?): Itachi's dead, great, but now the thing with Tobi and Sasuke? And he's immortal? Come on, just let it die already or we'll have another Inuyasha on or hands.

It really is, Inuyasha is the anime everyone starts out with. Well, besides Sailor moon and DBZ. As for Naruto. I'll tell you how Naruto ends. Sasuke finally kills everyone he has to kill like the ever immortal Tobi and then the creator will have him die in a freak chidori accident. Then naruto will go to the funeral, cry and then hang himself because they're 'not' lovers. Sakura will be the new big breasted hokage and be all emo. Itachi won't really be dead Sasuke just killed one of his millions of clones. Kabuto will become the next pedo. ninja like Orochimaru. Gaara will never be as cool as the narutard fangirls think he is. And when all of this happens, the narutards will still be shocked. XD I mean I really like Naruto and all, but it's getting to that point that it's just getting too cliched.

Yeah. I really liked Naruto when it stared out but now it's just...I don't know. I still like it but I get highly annoyed by it also. I like to cosplay it, I like the stuff and I still read and sometimes watch it. But at the same time I hate it XD It's an odd love/hate relationship.

Yeah. It's kind of fun to cosplay but it can be a pain. Most of the time I see teh same cosplayers though. Lots of Naruto, Sasukes, Kakashis ect. Plus they're all over the cons. That's why I was not really wanting to bring the Sakura cosplay but if people needed one for some reason I was willing to bring them.

hehe I love to RP while doing cosplay most of the time. At AOD a few years back we did the Fruits basket group and we sat between panels and played cards. It was weird. I'm usually really good at dai hin min but I lost every game as tohru and my best friend was always winning as Hanajima. The power of cosplay enver ceases to amaze me.

lol, I see. This is gonna be my first 'real' cosplay. I did one a couple years back but I wore it once to a party so it was kinda unofficial and I never finished it. It was just the dress.

That's cool. I only made about half the cosplay I have. The rest is bought or made by friends because I'm awful with sewing XD I manage to make a few things but not much. That's fine though. It's more satisfying wearing something I made myself but I really just like cosplaying in general.

Yeah but some people get seriously pissed off if you don't make your own cosplay. I had one person flip out on me because I didn't make one. they got really offended and yelled at me for a long time and I jsut said 'yes...but someone made it. I paid them. It helps the economy.'

yea, i had a lot of fun with my grandma making a mini cosplay for my friend, it was fun and when I get the courage to call her and make my next cosplay which might be Agito/ Akito fro air gear.
