I had to go back home early, sadly, because I was staying with parents, so I'm amazingly anxious to see some pictures. I should have taken some myself, but I was too busy doing stuff in the con to go around asking everyone for their picture.
So, due to my laziness, I'm asking if any of you have bothered uploading any of your photos already? This is also somewhere good for people to find pictures of themselves, or just show off your amazing(or horrible) camera skills from the con.
For those of you who don't know where to upload your pictures, here's a list of free sites that are useful (suggestions for others are wonderful, I'll add them to the list as I get them):

I'm currently uploading my photos to a gallery I'm starting up on my site for Kumori; everyone here is welcome to upload theirs too: http://kumori.giapet.net . I have at least 2 gigs of space and another 10 or so gigs of transfer available, so I should be able to handle most/all of the folks here. ^_^

Yeah Thats why I had no time everybody loved that sword!!! I may sell it at sakura con if I decide to do something completely different.

I took nearly 50 pictures, God bless digital cameras. My first step is to crop the images rotate upright bla bla bla, then Ill find somewhere to post them. I had an awsum time , better than I expected. It was my first con I was really happy to see there were some cosplayers from some of my favorite anime's.
Some people really did a great job on the costumes, I got to give everyone credit who showed up in costume. Once all the red spots from the camera flashes wear off and I get the time to post the pics I took you can see yourself.
Again I just got to say I had the most fun at the Kumoricon, I havent had that much fun in a long time. I only wish I had more cash to spend in the vender room. I cant wait to do it again, If I save up enough maybe I'll make it up to Seattle next year.

Yeah, I took lots of pics too, but it looks like there's a lot that didn't turn out from people getting in the way. I guess people don't realize that if they're closer to me than what I'm trying to get a shot of and they get in the way of the flash (which is a much broader range than what is in the shot), the shot is going to be too dark. Oh well, I'm sure I have about 40 good shots (took about 60 I think)... I'm too tired to get to them now though lol.

I borrowed my sisters digicam, and I gave it to her for development and I have not gotten it back yet.....(o_O;
I took 56 pictures on saturday alone. (In about an hour. I practically stopped all the cosplayers to do this. ^^;) I'm happy that most people came up with cool postures. :D I realized later that I should have backed up further to take the entire body, so sadly most pics have head to waist shot, which is little lame...

*grins* I took a whole hell of a lot of pictures. I really mean a lot. I believe it was around 170, and I was only there on sunday. Also, the batteries died on my digital camera a whole two hours before I left (around midnight) so I missed out on some of the cooler ones... I'm still uploading them onto a site, but I'll try to post a few of my favorites soon.

I was the hideous looking guy wearing a blue kimono, and white hakama. I had a crummy looking scar (done with s sharpie pen. It faded away) and glasses one. buzzed hair.
I was with two Fushigi yugi cosplayers. I forgot who they were cosplaying as. I think one was supposed to be some cute monk in the series.

Wow, I'm pretty surprised at the large amount of pictures that were taken out at Waterfront Park... I guess I never saw anyone out there because I was working security and never really got to go outside, but I bet that was pretty fun for the people just taking a regular walk... I can't wait till next year!! I'll be sure to cosplay, too, becuase I did a remarkable job avoiding cameras this year; I havn't seen myself once yet! Oh well, that's what you get for being boring! =)

a person walked up to me and before they took a picture they asked for my permission if it was okay to put the picture on the kumoricon website..
i agreed and they took my pic...

Patience, Zell... I had my picture taken 10+ times and I have yet to see any of them online. Also, did that person say it would be the official KumoriCon site? Just checking. All I know about are the plans to display photos of hall cosplay winners.

Since it's so easy to max out bandwidth on geocities as well as some of these other hosting sites, you can sometimes use another site that is attempting to provide semi-automatic mirrors of various websites by adding nyud.net:8090 after the domain name. For instance, the above site would look like:
http://www.geocities.com.nyud.net:8090/purplecosplay/kumori2004/
Unfortunately the bandwidth maxed out again on Geocities before all of the pictures could be mirrored, but I did get all but the last 5 through the mirrored site.

I finnally uploaded my pics to http://www.angeltowns4.com/members/mikej1592/ now its really late, I should have been in bed a while ago for work. Once I started setting up the webpage and fixing errors etc. it made me feel like I was there again. I even took a sample of the carpet from one of the shots and turned it into a cool background image. (least I think it has a cool effect)
Probly a standard disclaimer, if you see your pic and would rather I took it off just send me a message.
One last thing, I didnt have a costume this year (first con) but was still kinda bummed that I wasn't even in the background of anyones shots. I must have been dodging flashbulbs like a ninja.
I also must confess, I never read Naruto yet but after payday I plan on picking up a copy or two from Uwajimaya. It seemed to be just a bit popular at the con. If anyone knows of a good place to pick up manga around here other than there let me know, I only know there and Fry's.
Again, AWSUM con, you all rock, I'm also shy around people I dont know but everyone was just aswum.
Thanks again everyone for letting me take your pictures too by the way, but I guess if you go to a con in costume and dont let anyone take your pic I guess that would be a bit strange.

And....Heee....of course...gackt is the best (favorite singer, I bought his sixth day single collection right before the con...then I found out I got ripped off...but it was okay, because they weren't selling any of his music in the dealer's room anyway.) :)

Interesting note regarding Gackt. He and I share something in common, and that is my favorite anime is also his.
His favorite anime is Hokuto no Ken/Fist of The North Star, it is mine aswell. In fact, Gackt lent two of his songs as the OP and ED to the New Fist of The North Star (Shin Hokuto no Ken) series, aswell as provided a voice for a character.
Ok, yes, I am bragging, but, hey, I have something in common with Gackt, how many other people can say that?

Okay, this year i'm glad to see that someone uploaded my picture. but it's rather dark and low quality ^^;; and i would like to know if anyone else has my pic. I was the guy on sunday wearing the skirt and very odd shirt that said "Lesbian in desguise" And it also had the "Real men wear skirts" sign.

woot! after long searching I finnally think I found myself in the background of someones pic. I am in the reflection in the mirror behind the bunny girl at http://kumori.giapet.net/displayimage.php?album=random&cat=&pos=-20 if you click on it out of curiosity I am in the reflection just above her left shoulder drinking my starbucks coffee. You have to click to enlarge the image (with java enabled) and look closely to see me, im not in costume but by the shirt I can tell you that pic was taken on Saturday.
With all the photo taking going on I was sure I would turn up in the background of someones pic and was determined to find myself. :)
I hope to be in cosplay next time, I think I'm leaning twords Sanzo from Saiyuki seems like a good one for a first timer.
Oh and side note I finally read some Naruto and thought it was really cool, I can see why it was so popular with cosplayers.

Note that you have to go to one of the albums of to see any pictures. I'm thinking of using my geocities site(its dead atm) so I can have a "pretty" homepage and maybe some way of adding my own comments if I feel like. Also, in case you're wondering, Animazement is a convention over in North Carolina. Wasn't as good as Sakura or Kumori imo though.

uhm, does anyone have any pics of me? I was the kimono wearing bunny on Saturday, and I had the littlefoot stuffed animal on Sunday.... the con website url has been changed because people at http://www.i-mockery.net/ were directly linking to my pictures and page.
The website is for racial slurs... and they were making fun of the inter racial pairings and such.
I'd advise you watch out for it too.
If you want to go back to it, go to consz instead of cons.
If it gets changes again (which it might if they find it again), go to the main page and look under updates. The url is 24/7 posted there, even as it changes.

I think it's neat ^_^ I haven't wore mine out in ages, kinda feel to old for it now, but I've still got a lil box of all the pieces people gave me over the years. If it wouldn't get me kicked out, I'd be half way inspired to setup turntables in my room at the con :)

oh, cool :) If you ever need a villan to cosplay with I could load up my record bag full of terror & speedcore. *assults the PLUR with lables of death and destruction* I could put Happy Hardcore or Epic Trance in the bag ... but that might be to much fluffiness for one party ;)

That is so awesomely beautiful, I am thuroughly kicking myself for not making it this year.
I'm probably one of few I know of who has read ALL of Angel Sanctuary, and it is one of my favorite manga, aswell as Yuki Kaori being one of my favorite manga-ka (I also quite love her Count Cain series).
Truly fabulous job on that costume, she did.
