Yo! Anyone else on the boards one of the people who participated in Spin the Ramune Bottle or Duck, Duck, Otaku?
I was that person in the black shirt who did good glomps... and had her hair up in a ponytail! :D
SO. ANYWAYS.
This game has spawned a little fan activity: Glomp-Fest! Basically what it means is that we'll be doing it again. Like. Tomorrow, 11am, in the park, same place as last. And we may have a new game to play IN the convention center!

I felt bad when I went out side to the ester short park yesterday and a guy glomped me I didn't tell him that my costume had spikes all around the chest.... he said he was ok though so that's good I felt bad.

I was in the Glomp Circle for at least 3 hours total Sunday. x3 The best one was the one going around 7-8 or so. At least, that's when I was in it.

I was there for the saturday night one. It was really fun. I wanted to particpate on sunday, but accidentaly overslept, and came in on the tail end of it, and then the one on sunday night was entirely too 'nazified' for my blood. seriously, would it kill them to not yell at the players for standing "too close together" and whatnot?
but other than that it was fun. although it was kind of hard to keep track of two bottles spinning at once on the later games.

I was jealously watching. Some of those glomps looked very ferocious. I kind of have a bad back, so as fun as it sounds to have several screaming anime fans running full speed to give me a hug, it kind of worried me. ^_^

ahaha, i was the haruhi cosplayer (ouran haruhi) on sunday who kept doing girly glomps. xD;; that was really super fun! :]] made my first convention feel a lot more relaxed and friendly.

i showed up near the tail end of the spin the ramune game. I was the tobi who hung out with itachi....I waved to a lot of people and gave a lot of thumbs up, lol

OMG a glomp panel would be awesome! i'll help run it xD, i remember being in a glomp hall in animazement a few years back, where when walking through, people were all lined up to glomp you! xD

@ Ryu-chan - OMG, I would've LOVED a glomp hall. xD So yes... I'm pretty sure we'd have enough volunteers to help run it (seven would be enough, I think). And I'm sure it would be awesome to an extent that we'd get even MORE people to film it! : D

I need about five or so more people who KNOW they will be at Kcon next year; I'm going to request a Glomp Fest panel. But I want to make sure we'll have enough people to supervise it and everything. xD

2 hours seems fine, 3 might be a bit long ( i have a short attention span) everyday of course! there are always people who need the glomp patrol to make them happy everyday!

And another reason I think everyday is good is since some people will only be coming for one day, they won't get to go to EVERYTHING cool. AND EVERYONE NEEDS TO EXPIRIENCE THE GLOMP CIRCLE.

I seen a girl who had sign that said 'HEARTBROKEN: please hug me'. And she was actually CRYING. So I gave her hugs whenever I seen her.
She is one of the reasons we need a Glomp Fest: Spin the Ramune Bottle panel.

Seriously, according to the closing ceremonies announcement, next years con is going to be in the Doubletree (where the con 2 years ago was held), those guys were AWESOME about things like this. and they actually WANTED us back.

The whole glomp thing was certainly different, I had never done one before, and thought what the heck when I was asked to join by the crowd on saturday, and after joining I was there till it ended.... not sure how long that was (time flies when your haveing fun). I didint know it was going the other two days, so maybe an an actual anounced event would be good. Sadly I didn't see the sad person, which is odd I wandered most of the time I was at the con just to make sure that I saw everything or had a chance to try something that looked fun. now I feel bad, i'll have to pay better attention next year.

I was there on the first day. Heh man chi was awesome. the only bad part was that my Kunai holster and my vest became casualties... TT__TT Poor costume...you didn't stand a chance. Next year I'm going to be a tonberry, and if spin the ramune bottle returns, I will join in again!

Well, I participated a few times. I came and played sunday night while wearing my pretty blue dress and tiara. I came with Tuxedo Mask. But most of the other times I watched it from the seventh floor of the hotel where my room was. Highly entertaining even from seven stories up.
