I'm only going to be at one of these for my costumes but I thought I might start a list of cosplay photoshoots so I can be sure to get pictures! Thanks to Antares I will be posting this list at the Info Booth in the lobby and the Pocky Club booth in the Exhibitor's Hall. I might even whip up a sign up sheet for new ones!
Since it matters a lot to you guys, here is the schedule.

This is as official as it gets and only a couple of tiny changes will take place at this point.

Cosplay is going to be around 5pm on Sunday, maybe a little earlier or a little later, but if you're going to be judged for your costumes or performing a skit you need a few hours free right there. I suggest that you guys meet Sunday Morning unless you want to change costumes. I know there'll be some Naruto skits and a Death Note skit, FYI.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl/Melee - Friday, 11:00pm, Lobby/front desk area of the Hilton
Star Ocean - 9:00 AM Saturday, Hotel Lobby (by the stairs, away from Registration)
General RPG Characters - 11:00am on Saturday, right after Opening Ceremonies!
--------Basically the idea is to get characters from any RPG, good chance to wear your FF costume if you're also cosplaying KH!

Bleach - 2:00pm Saturday in the front lobby (to see if there's room in the park)
Melancholy of Haruhi Suzamiya - 3:30 Saturday, (or you can meet up at the MHS Dance Party ;) )
D Grey Man - 4:00pm on Saturday (near the clock tower)
Uber Geek Wonder Squad - 5:18 pm Saturday at the Forum Meet up Panel (Oak Room)
Excel Saga - 7:30pm Saturday Night, Front Lobby
Resident Evil - 6:00 PM Saturday Night, out front of the hotel

If we get the information all in one place we can inform more people AND actually choose a place to meet. Though I suggest everyone go to the park across the street for pictures because it is awesome (except when the city festival is going on Saturday of course).
It seems his post fell through the cracks, but Darkain is going to be doing private photoshoots for cosplayers if you want to make ABSOLUTELY SURE you get a good picture.

There will be a Guilty Gear meetup on Sunday in the park. The time will be added once we can take a look at the schedule. On Monday there will be a small Higurashi no Naku Koro ni group, but I have no idea where we'll be. (Rena, Mion, Keiichi, and I (Rika) ) Probably in the park as well. I'll keep this updated as these two meetups get times.

Yeah, I was talking with someone about the forum meetup and I messed up. I changed it to photoshoot to avoid confusion.
The forum meetup is Saturday afternoon after the Pocky club Panel. ;D

I am sure there will be an FMA photoshoot, probably multiple. Probably Bleach as well. I'm hoping to get enough Star Wars people to have a shoot..as long as I get my costume done in time <.<

is there gonna be enough people to do a zelda shoot? i know some other people are doing stuff, but its allways a little scetcy cause not everyone goes on the forums. also i take ass pictures so more cameras = more chance for good photos.

I heard a rumor that the Gaming staff wanted to get the video game photoshoots over by their part of the Con. There's a large hallway with good light that runs along that part of the building and there shouldn't be any foot traffic back there so I suppose you could get some good FF or Zelda group shots over there.

Probably an old rumor then.
If you guys want to do something for video game cosplay let me know. Maybe I can have the game staff help judge the Hall cosplay contest by helping me decide on a "Best Boss Cosplay" or something silly like that.

maybe someone who had been in charge had some sort of plan. but currently there is no cosplay related plan in the gamming room line up. and really that room/area wouldnt be to good for pictures, its going to be dark crowded an cavey.
but i think the boss thing idea could be good. i dunno we will all be there on sunday.

Well, not IN the gaming room. There's a really big hallway next to it that leads to an emergency exit. It's basically not gonna be used for anything.
Said hallway can be seen on my MAP (http://pockyclub.elite-otaku.net/maps.html) and I highly suggest that cosplay groups use it if they have less than five people because it will be well lit and out of the way but still in the actual building. Unlike the park.
the park is right across the street but technically the heart of the convention is still about half a block away.

I'm good with pretty much any time for the Kino no Tabi photoshoot as long as it doesn't conflict with the Ouran photoshoot/tea party. I should be there all three days. Errrr... Now to get started on my costumes... o.o;; *has money at least*

Assuming I'm the only person cosplaying from it, I'll be doing my own "photoshoot" for Darker than Black. I'm not sure when or where yet, as I'll have to work it around D.Gray Man and Death Note.
And I just realized I'm cosplaying from only series that start with D.
But yeah. I'll be willing to stop and do just pictures for a half-hour one of the days (once we figure DGM and DN out) And anyone can join me (so long as they're cosplaying form DtB)

Thanks Tom for getting Guilty Gear and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni up on the list. Higurashi is also going to be in the park and I will post the times in this thread and the specific game/anime threads as well once we get the schedule.

Note to everyone, Vancouver is having a city festival in the park Saturday! Beware mundanes!
However, if you'd like to enter the pie eating contest or the three legged race in costume then be sure to get pictures!

Whee. I'll be going as Kairi from KH2, Pink Dress, and will hopefully have a Namine and random Org. 13 member coming with me. I can do this costume anytime, and I reallly wanna be at the photoshoot :D
Also, I was one of the nurses last year.. The one tugging along at Py-Head's heavily tattooed arm, leading him around :D I am redoing both of our costumes, and we'd LOVE to get moar pics with Silent Hill cosplayers! (Last year we found like, 2 others that did Silent Hill, haha.)

From the information I have on the cosplay contest people and the different panels.... I suggest that Bleach do their photoshoot on Saturday afternoon. The park will have the fair in it that day but I think that you're going to run out of options thanks to the Cosplay, Naruto, and final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts (the latter two will probably meet sunday morning since so many of those cosplayers do skits).
Any objections to Bleach meeting Saturday afternoon?

OK guys, FF and Naruto are bound to be in the park on Sunday since they're huge. Is anybody going to do their photoshoots on Monday? There's like, 6 hours of time there that a lot of people seem to be avoiding.

There was mention of a Digimon shoot, which I would love to me a part of. I know we have a group with 02 TK, Kaizer, Daisuke, Joe, and possible a 01 Mimi. We may have more... Is any one else coming and interested in a photoshoot?
Also, is anyone interested in a yaoi shoot? I would vote that happen at the same time as the Sunday morning groups since KH, FF, and Naruto are big yaoi fandoms. XD Anyone intrested or vote for a different time?

I messed up btw people. I think the cosplay is going to be pushed back a little later than I expected. Luckily this will make more time for you guys to get photoshoots done across the street before you go get in line for seats of get in the green room for contestants.

The Kingdom Hearts cosplayers were decisive and chose 10am Sunday, thus I have pressed the FF cosplayers to do the same.
There shouldn't be any big conflicts with the schedule. ;)

The Digimon photo shoot will probably be meeting at the Fan Creation Station, not the park. Just so that's clear for everyone. ^^

What happened to the Kino no Tabi photoshoot? I mean, we are still going to have one since we still have a few cosplayers from the series and I want to take pictures and fangirl. XD
Besides... I always have my "spur of the moment Kino cosplay" which is already in my closet. It sucks, but I'll still make sure to wear it for the Kino photoshoot. X3

Guilty Gear will be at 9AM in the park on Sunday. I know it's early, but then we don't miss anything and we're not mixed in with FF/KH or any other shoot.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni will be at 10AM in the park on Monday. Our group of 3 has turned into more then 10 now so it's looking good.

XD Just kidding. I just find that pairing beyond hilarious. XD I've even dabbled in Kino x Hermes (motorrad) fanfics a bit. They make me laugh. XD
And I'm just wondering... Is there any news of a Sailor Moon photoshoot? Because I'm debating whether or not I should wear my Princess Mars cosplay on one of the days. (I actually haven't seen anything about Sailor Moon cosplay this year... Which is odd... .-.)

This list is going to be cleaned up and posted at the info booth for additions to be made. I'm doing this to help everyone, not because the staff are dictating times. ;D

Yeah, I've been out of town for almost the past month, so my thread dropped of the face of the earth.

Michi would like to add a Star Ocean (any) photoshoot at 10 AM on Saturday. Honsetly... I dunno when Opening Ceremonies, so if it conflicts with that, we can just change it a bit. *shrugs*I have to be wary of my work schedule, myself and my three friends (all also cosplaying Star Ocean) are working the Sakura-Con booth, so we have to be careful.

The thread in General Discussion was older and they were guesses. As of today this schedule is what was agreed upon by the various groups of cosplayers. Since there's a ton of people doing their photoshoots on Sunday I asked them if they could do it on Saturday instead and they agreed.
It was kind of a trcik because I wanted Death Note and Bleach to have a Shinigami battle. ;D

The Star Ocean (any) is Saturday at 9 AM. Works for myself and my friends hopefully. Dealer's room usually doesn't open until 10.... Gives us an hour... Or at least the person with the first shift.

We can share the time and location with Guilty Gear. The park is big. I don't think It'll be too big a deal. ^^;

Yes, Sunday the park will have plenty of room, it's only Saturday that it will be really crowded.
I suggest making any scheduling requests in the the threads for those cosplays so that I know it's the community and not just one person demanding a change.

I'm going to schedule a "Tales of..." shoot at the same time the RPG shoot is going on (so we can have it seperate then combine them after), and it'll be on Saturday.
Could you see if you can find out when Kirk Thornton's Q&A panel and autograph sessions are scheduled? I plan on attending those events and don't know when they're scheduled and I don't want those events to intervene with the shoot.

The Death Note photoshoot is confirmed to be at 2pm on Saturday at the plaza.

Is there any way we can get one huge post that lists the times for all of the photoshoots? I've got dial up (sadly) and loading all these pages slows my computer down. It could be a pinned topic only edited by mods and then we can use this topic to express time concerns.

A Ranma 1/2 gathering WILL occur. It will be at 1pm on Sunday. We have 5 people so far total. We'll meet at the Hilton Lobby, then decide if we want to go somewhere for photos.

Okay, as BoredHorror said, you've still got us D. Grey-man folks down for 4pm on Sunday, and we want to get in at 4:00pm Saturday, seeing as, for one, the Cosplay contest would otherwise be going on...unless we wanna go earlier on Sunday?
Any takers, D. Grey-man people? We wanna still try for crowed Saturday, or maybe Sunday at 1:00pm or so? So we wouldn't miss Cosplay, but we wouldn't be competing for Saturday....
I don't think too much is going on in that time slot that we'd be really hardcore missing out on...

Wow, this is probably one of the most horribly planned out lists i have seen. How is anyone supposed to make it to as many as they can? There are 4 gatherings at 11am on Sat. The DeathNote and Bleach gatherings are scheduled at the same time. the Naruto and Ouran gathering are also at the same time. How is anyone supposed to go to these gatherings for their costume no less how is a photographer supposed to try and cover all the gatherings they can. *sigh*

Regarding the Tales shoot, that shoot is for Tales games in general, so you should have it say Tales games or Tales of... games.

In case you haven't noticed, if we did that there wouldn't be time for everything. Most people who can only come one day go to the con on either Saturday or Sunday, meaning that most photoshoots can't take place on Monday, or no one would show up. Now of the people who are cosplaying, a lot of them are probably going to enter the Cosplay Contest. Rehearsal for that starts at 9AM on Sunday meaning that if someone is in the cosplay contest they probably can't make any photoshoots taking place on Sunday. So most of the cosplay photoshoots would have to be on Saturday. Now, let's look at the list of events hypothetically given these circumstances. For the purpose of this hypothetical situation we will assume that each photoshoot remains on the same day it is on now and that all photoshoots are spaced exactly an hour apart. If we start at 9AM on Saturday, the photoshoots would last until 8PM. (Meaning that it started at 7PM and ended at 8.) If you started at the same time on Sunday, the photoshoots would all be finished at 3PM, leaving only half an hour before the seating for the Cosplay Contest.
These wouldn't be the only problems either. Making a photoshoot at 9 or 10AM is fine if you are staying in the hotel or live only half an hour away like I do, but there are plenty of people coming from much greater distances and it would be impossible for them to make it there that early unless they got up very very early. Secondly, there are plenty of people who can't stay very late. I know that my mom doesn't like me out very late and will probably pick me at around 7PM or so. Some people have to leave even earlier because of prior commitments such as appointments or if they are younger than 13, their parent is too busy to just sit around in a hotel all day just so that their kid can go to an event that many parents, including mine, think is centered around a childish pastime. Not only that, but there are a lot of important events that people don't want to miss which would conflict with the schedule if it was different. The Opening Ceremonies, AMV Contest, video game tournaments, and the Random Panel (of Doom) are just a few of the more popular ones. Frankly, I don't see how the schedule could be changed to have photoshoots not overlap and still not conflict with any really important events or have all the people in the photoshoot still be able to come. Please think before you speak next time... >> [/justiceful rant]

think about the cosplayers who cosplay from Deathnote and Bleach. They wont be able to go to one of the photo gatherings. I think that really, since we cant cater to everyone who is cosplaying, we might as well try to make it so people can show up to as many gatherings as they want, rather than make it so everyone who is coming can make it to one.
Personally, when i go to a con, i do wake up at 7. I get into costume so i dont miss anything. I know alot of people dont even sleep. There is a small few people who actually sleep in and go to bed early, why should us cosplayers who actually WANT a ton of pictures and to meet a ton of people and hang out with friends have to cut back on that for the people who dont want to drive from their house early enough to attend. You snooze you lose.

Each one of those times was decided upon by the cosplayers of each genre and then posted in this thread. I didn't make this thread as a place to decide on these times, I made it as a way of compiling information.
Please make all complaints to the individuals who made the decisions, the people who spent the last few months communicating their wishes with each other. Anyone who cared about making it to each and every photoshoot they wanted to be in should have been letting people know then. Rather than just bitching about other people's choices.
That being said, people are still moving times around. They have been in constant flux ever since the schedule was posted. If you want something changed then go poke the cosplayers. Any scheduling I see evidence of will be posted.
Edit: Oh and the FMA thread had a brilliant idea! TWO DIFFERENT times! OMG! You mean that you can have a photoshoot without every single costume of that genre there? Amazing.

You came and started complaining about the photoshoot schedule. You can state your opinions to the right people and it'll help. If you complain about my list in my thread I'm going to take it personally. you're getting verbally attacked because I'm defensive about something I'm doing to try and HELP people who are doing multiple cosplays. If the list hadn't been put up then people would have to go and seek out each seperate thread themselves. I get defensive when I try and do people favors and get insulted.
You were a little immature with the melodramatic *Sigh*. I thought you would have expected such a rebuttal from me. I can tell your frustrated with the schedule but again, it's still being changed. Convince people to meet at different times.

Since most of the photo shoots are in the park, you should still be able to get pictures of groups that are meeting at the same time. Most of them will be in the same general area.
As for being in two shoots at once, I'm almost doing that. Naruto is at 9 and KH is at 10 and I plan to be in both of them. I won't be there the whole time for both, but I'm committed enough to do a quick change in between so I can at least be at a part of each. As Tom said, we planned them the best we could, and people who had scheduling issues (like me) spoke up and got it worked out as best we could. We can't make everyone happy, but I think we've done pretty good so far. I hope you can manage to work in most of the shoots you wanted! ^^
