Title: Still rooting for the Gamecube fighting games.

I'm sorry to bother anyone, but I really want to ensure that a gamecube is brought with fighting games, especially Capcom Vs SNK 2 and Super Smash Bros. Melee. I may be willing to bring them myself if needed.

You can always bring the games if you want to make absolutely sure.  I know we'll have Game Cubes.   I know I'm bringing Smash Brithers for Game Cube.

Something that comes in handly is bringing cards where things are unlocked.  That's something that can just be transferred over and you can keep with you.

You can be pretty sure SSBM will be there, and probably a tournament, too.

Soul Calibur 2 will also be a definite if I have anything to say about it.

I don't know about CvSNK2, since I don't go in for Capcom fighters much.

CvS2 is best played on the playstation2
the game doesnt have the new xbox "features"... not that roll cancelling was that great either, but they changed a bunch of hitboxes, and made P-groove too powerful
and most fighting sticks are for ps2 anyway
