We haven't had a meeting of our own in a long time!
I'll go into more details in the Pocky Club Newsletter that will get mailed out tonight or Friday Morning (depending on what I get for caffeine tonight), but I want to hold a meeting like the ones we had back in the day. Going over ALL the information on the club and practice making deliveries. There's a lot of booth stuff to go over too so if you make it to the meeting you'll be more likely to get the spot you want on the schedule!
The meeting is going to be held at Lloyd Center's Food Court, Sunday July 1st at Noon, close to the balcony as usual. Meeting at the Hotel would be nice but we get smaller turnouts when it's further from the MAX.
We will be going across the street to the park for pictures afterwards if weather permits, so bring cameras and costumes! Even if the weather doesn't agree, please dress up. If our pictures and Glomp Safety lessons go well enough you guys might end up in the next issue of the newsletter! :D
So bring your friends and a box of Pocky to share!

Cool, I think I'll come Tom because I was thinking about becoming a Pocky Club volunteer so this sounds like an ideal meeting to start at.

I'm probably going to stop by Kinokuniya before the meeting to pick up some manga so I might be able to buy some.

Prince Nori, if you'd like to join Pocky Club just send me an email at pockyclub@gmail.com and then I'll send you the latest newsletter. This issue explains all the different stuff we're helping with at this year's convention.
Mostly it's delivering Pockygrams but we're also in charge of the Hallway costume Contest which means we'll be taking pictures during the convention. Unlike last year, I'm definitely going to make sure I get a copy of the pictures this year so that I can share them with the whole Club.
Last years pictures aren't even onlin anywhere. *gives nyco the evil eye*

want the pictures I took. The ones that were on the Programming department's camera. The one's on nyco's computer between WoW and the schedule's first draft.
Luckily I can pile a bunch of them onto Vallie's computer since she needs it for Reg stuff, so I might just miss the pics of closing and the after parties.

Oishii and her friends have first dibs on when they will be watching the booth, likely it will be some time in the afternoon. Maybe right before our panel. They've also agreed to help take snapshots for the Hall cosplay contest.
I went over a few things with them but we're trying to keep them as secret as possible since we want to keep it a surprise. It all has to do with our skit for the cosplay contest.
Most of the time was spent making Negima wish he wasn't going to Hawaii.
I was the only one in costume so we didn't go through the glomp training and delivery practice like I wanted to this meeting. Oh well.
There will be more info in the next newsletter. Next meeting is July 15th, 2 Sundays from now. The Kumoricon General Meeting starts at 2 so we would be meeting at 12:00 in the park across the street. I will try and email out a reminder. If everybody makes it this will be the biggest Pocky Club meeting ever!

In other news, the meet up went well even though there wasn't many of us. We got some good pictures for Pocky club's website (which I'm slowly updating by the way) and a whole bunch for my Glomping article.
Now I just need Patrick to get me the pictures....

Since I have a couple more hours of work and you two seem to be free, let's see what you've got. Both of you guys make me some examples of a Pocky Club info page. Well I don't think using templates or web design programs is a bad things. I just have a hard time editing away the extra code when I want to change things so I've never bothered. I've never felt the need to have a "professional" looking site after all, I'm all about getting the information to the reader in the clearest and fastest way possible.
One my copy of Dreamweaver arrives from work I might change my tune.
Allow me to make a secondary challenge. Take the gazebo pictures and make a story page. I am going to be editing the pictures to make my own later but this will be a more specific and more fun project for everyone! For reference, here is the original story of the killer gazebo.

I can give tips on how to use dreamweaver, and I can get you guys copies of it if you need it.

If I get a good date for a meeting I'll post it here. We will need to meet before the mini-con as well as at the general meetings since we can make deliveries there.
