Title: Kumoricon in the Starlight Parade?

Forgive me if we're already involved, since I didn't see the whole parade, but here's my idea.

I saw a group of Star Wars cosplayers (Cloud City Garrison or something like that) in the parade on tv, and I figure that if they can do it, so can we. So howsabout we get a group of popular series cosplayers together for next year and march in the parade?

It's a nighttime parade where all the floats are full of lights that occurs during the Portland Rose Festival. It was just last night.

Hmm... Kumoricon cosplaying at the starlight parade?  That sounds interestingly delightful!

We're getting a lot of things on the list for next year. Is someone in publicity writing down all th events we've missed so that we can try and be there in an official capacity next year?

Yup. Parades are usually expensive, but Publicity has it on the list to check out!

I have been in the Starlight parade I think three times. Each of them were when I was in the Clackamas High School Marching band. The Starlight parade is on the first weekend of June usually, and it's a long walk (if you are marching) and I'd love to do this. The Starlight is awesome, and I'd be able to cheer on Clackamas from the sidelines. :3
