At Sakura*Con i saw someone in the Artist Alley drawing people in Anime/Manga style....Is anyone possibly doing that at Kumori*Con? Thanks

From my experience if you can find someone at the artist alley that isn't busy you can usually ask if they'll draw you and your friends.
At K-con '05 my friends and I did that, it took like 2 hours because she hadn't done it much but it still turned out well :3

This is Bastett and yes, I am going to be offering anime portraits this year and every year. I only got two commissions last year for on-the-spot portraits but this year I am offering the anime portraits.

Yeah, I can share a few. I'll need to update a few so I'll draw a few people at work or something. I have some from two years ago and I haven't updated that much sadly since I got out of school. But I will.

Here is my latest example of a anime portraits.
Just a little back-story of this image: This was a commission from a friend of mine online named Cryllia who wanted an anniversary image of her wedding day with her husband in Japanese anime style.

Hehe... thanks!!! ^____^ Really I'm flattered. It's kinda hard for me not to feel like a hack sharing a table with SJen every year, but I love her lots and have known her for what seems like ages. Also I have to remind myself that our styles are different, so I can't compare myself to her like that.
What I really love about your style is how even though you draw existing characters, you do them in your own style and it's just awesome to see people who can adapt characters to their style and not always the other way around. ^__^ Looking forward to your new stuff too!!! Loved the PitaTen group!

I'm charging $10 for a single shot chibi or non-chibi and up. I can also do group shots but I'll have a list of prices at the con this year. Look for me in a shinigami outfit. Hehehehe!

Signs aren't allowed from what I've been reading on here :p You'll have to write on a T-shirt or something

i think signs are allowed as long as you arent offering a service for money. That's the problem I had at Sakuracon, I was offering to do dumb things for money and they took my sign away. I made 10 bucks though :)

So, yes! Early = no wait! No wait = good XD

I also recomend having a sign-in sheet. As crazy as that might sound it really helps.

Ah, I do use a sign up system, so people don't necessarily have to wait around the whole time, but having a sign up sheet in the first place means that there's going to be a wait... :x
When there's no sign up sheet and no one waiting, that is the best time.. because...
No wait > Waiting! XD ho ho ho.

They might have to wait if you get really popular.
I would also use it just so that you have a record yourself as to what bussiness you got at the con and who wanted what. It helped me my first year.
