Sorry if there is already a topic on this but was just curious...My friends and I, after Sakura Con, decided to go to Kumori Con on a whim...So i'll be ordering our hotel room and pre-register next Friday =) Yay...anyways yeah so all the Hilton is booked up~BOO~any other great places to stay?~Thanks ^.^

There's been all sorts of confusion about the Hilton so I'd suggest trying to get a room there before you call the other places. The nearest are the Econolodge downtown and the Red Lion at the Quay, just to the south.

Thanks for the Map ^.^ I'm goin with 4 people so i hope they have a room with 2 beds! Yay i'm soooo excited...it'll be my 2nd con and i only went to Sakura Con for 1 day so its like a mini-vacation for me!

Yeah, I think if we could fly like crows the one across the river at Jantzen Beach might actually be closer.
Also, I've been told that it isn't a Taco Bell, but some different 24 hour taco place.
Hey as long as we can make a food run in Mustash's car at 4 am!

The non-Taco Bell is called Muchas Gracias, at least barring any missing accents or such. It's a local chain of Mexican restaurants that is mostly in the Vancouver area but there are a few popping up elsewhere.

Yeah Muchas Gracias!! They have a mexican stand downtown and they rock! Carne Asada chips are the best!
Not too much further up there is also a Dairy queen, in addition you are missing alot of places within walking distance, a mexican place, a pizza place, another thai place, the jerusleum cafe, a few burger grills, another mexican place, so trust me, no one will go hungry!

There's a lot of local sit down restaurants but they don't show up on google. I'll post more the next time I have a chance to drive around downtown.
Plus, I was looking for takeout and fast food specifically, you know, convention food. Unless they delivery or you can call in orders for pick up they're not as important as the others for my map.
Also, I'm starting to cover up things with my labels and I'd rather leave some out than have to create a new map with a key off to one side.

I remember when I did this in 2005 there were people saying "Uh, do we really need to know where the liquor stores are? Nobody's going to go there." I just laughed knowingly.

WEll the thing is I might drive and I might not if I drive my truck and I am drinkin I am just gonna crash in my truck other then that I am riding with my brother so he can drive my drunk ass home every night lol
and yeah I just find anime drinking games are the best.... that or if you really wanna get drunk play the labyrinth drinking game... watch the labyrinth and every time david bowies crotch or a lock is in the picture take a shot

Well heck, if you found a cheaper deal at Shiloh then go for it!
Wow. Just make sure that you've got sunscree/umbrellas for the walk over, that's quite a ways to go and I have a feeling parking will be taken up pretty quickly every day.

Ah, you see, that is why you bring a friend with a bicycle or other means of transportation besides a car....
Omg....I'm thinking of the thought of seeing, like an Inuyasha and Kikyo just riding down the sidewalk on a bike...Lol...I have a pink bike....And my friend might dress up as Kagome....Hm....I'm having....what is this? This strange feeling-Oh, it;s an idea!

oh yeah, cant wait for the con now, i will probably get tipsy the 2nd day. it would be great to get a frickin drunk cosplay party together!lol well now that i think about it, its probably best to not get drunk at a con, bunch of kids and whatnot, but that night... woo!!! lol

I am going to commute too, it would be cool to get some brews with other people in cosplay though that would just be so awesome!
Just not so much that I couldn't drive back, unless someone want to drive me back, but they have to drive a stick.

No drunk at the con is not a good idea, we've had to deal with that in the past and you will get booted out. Though what you do at night away from the con is your own business.
