Title: Para Para Event
Post by: diskowarp_pete on April 18, 2007, 01:05:23 pm
Hello Kumoricon Staff-

This is Pete (aka Kid Whatever) from portland-based eurobeat record label Disko Warp. My friend Phylicia and I would like to offer to run a Para Para dance panel/workshop at Kumoricon this year. We helped out with a friend's event recently at Sakuracon and it was a lot of fun. We had about 30 or so participants and taught a couple of routines, and also did some filming of routines. I'd love to organize and run this event at the con!

Please let me know here, or via pete@peteellison.com. Hope to hear from you soon.

cheers
Pete

Hello!

Just to be helpful I thought I'd link one of my info pages and give you the forms.

Panelist form

Other forms

You mentioned learning and filming routines. There's discussion of learning a specific routine in this thread,
http://www.kumoricon.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4243

Also note that we have a section devoted to panelists and events so you can see what else will be going on at the convention, and a gaming section if you want to actually get a tournament or something organized!

Welcome to Kumoricon!

There's a ton of people learning that Haruhi Suzumiya routine... maybe I'll learn it.

It's good to see your prompt responses! Thanks for your interest in para para dance!
