I am interested in the exhibitor hall.
How much of the space downstairs will be alotted to the vendors and how much to Artist's Alley. Since I plan to finally get an Artist's Alley table for my organization.
Have the prices for such tables been specified yet?
If we will have other people watching the booth is there a way we can hand off a vendor badge somehow?
I'll be sure to email exhibitor at kumoricon.com once I have the funds and know how much to pay for the table.
Also, if there's been managers assigned by all the Directors can we get a rundown of who's who? I always like to know who to ask when things come up.
-
No can make it. Sorry guys. :\

The list of staff will be posted as soon as the staff area is functional. We'll have contact info posted there, as well.
For non-staff, we'll have main page information with emails. I don't see this taking too long. I'll try to have what we've got up by tomorrow. (Jeff, we can work on this tonight?)
I'll have to leave exhibitor's hall info to Eric and Sean.
Good questions! Please keep it up. :)

I want to go over ideas to make the Cosplay room/area more interactive and the idea of recruiting staff and volunteer teams for specific rooms so they have time to met before and brainstorm and prepare. Of course that depends on getting enough recruits and so a side note to that is determining benefits for staff and volunteers early enough to help in the recruitment process. And a few other random ideas I never here back on in PM
And don't forget kids after the meeting there will be a RPG swap meet under Toms's Chair. As this is the first one don't bring a suit case of your old RPG books but have a list in mind of what you want or what you have, nothing really high end or collectable that e-bays for $100 like my 1st ed DD&G I keep finding at goodwill for 99 cents. Thats at 5:05 under toms chair

Some day you should have them put a link to the main Kumoricon.com web page on the front page of the forum. Then it's a click away now I have to look through my bookmarks and the mouse is such a heavy thing to move around today.

Jaz, there are posters and fliers. PM Antares about getting some quickly as she's managing the street team stuff. ^_^
And yay for rideness!
-
Speaking of Street Team... ^_^
I would like to really start to plan the delivery dates and places for this year's poster / flier drops. Also go over what all we want to say. I should have the auction donation letter ready to hand out to Street Teamsters at the meeting, but need:
1. Letter asking people to buy an ad in conbook
2. Letter asking people to buy a table at Kcon
3. Anything else we want to get into the hands of store owners.
By meeting time I will have contacted people who have shown an intereste in street team, but I'd like some time at the meeting to assign stuff.
Do we have an updated calendar of the events we will be at (Sakuracon. Japanfest etc.?) so that we can sort out how many posters and fliers we need to devote to them (and trades...)
Wee! Happy 2007 everyone!!!!
-
Oh goody! A location has been determined!
Is there an address available?
I would like to try & go, but I need a ride from Vancouver, as well.
Does Tri-Met go down that far? 'Cause if it does, I might be able to do that.
-
I just checked and it doesn't go that far

Well, then I guess I'll have to try & find a ride. Perhaps I can meet up with someone down in Portland or something. Maybe I'll move this idea to Plan Your Adventure.
-
I should be able to make it ^^ It is a bit of a drive but I can bear it!
-
Yay! I'll be glad to see you Leashy!
-
Oh please oh please oh please oh please don't let me be working that day and I actually might make it.

I think Leashy and her friends live in Vancover (ain't that near Washougal) and know of your club NOVA. You can join her Kumoriconvoy but you have to sing the song unless you don't want to be in a car with girls. You could also organize a group trip with your club as an excuse to get a ride thats what I try and do

Let me know if your going and lets check with Radien then we can have our own ONAC Kumoriconvoy i'll be Leather Ducky. And yeah the meeting is at the Library

If my roomie drives, Ill go.
If she can't go I can pick you up but you will need to take the max to Park Rose transit Center.
-
i shall try to go
-
I'll do my best to get there, but if life kicks me while I'm down one more time I may not be around for a while.
-
I regret that it's possible I might not be able to make it there. I was just back East because my dad has spent the week in the hospital (cancer surgery). So I'm starting school a week behind, as well as having missed several days of paid work.
If I can make it, I will, but given the likelihood that I won't be able to:
If anyone had wanted to approach me to ask to become staff or volunteer specifically within the Creation Station (fanfic, fan art, fan improv theatre) and/or to help judge any of our contests, or to run a panel/demo/contest therein, to ask questions about anything under the Creation Manager position, or for any other reason:

To paraphrase what Jeff posted on the front page...
Jan was Salem
Feb 10 is Eugene
March 10 – Salem
April 13-15 – Staff retreat – Location TBD
May 20 – Salem
June 16 – Salem
July 15 – Vancouver Hilton and Convention Center
August 11 – Vancouver Hilton and Convention Center
August 25 (weekend before the con) – Vancouver Hilton and Convention Center
Also, for those of you who don't have transportation and can't get somewhere that isn't max accessible, say something out in the Plan you own adventure area to see if anyone in your area is carpooling to the location.
-
Yikes!
Well Runa, not that I'm recruiting you for my Club or anything, but I take notes for every meeting and if you'd like to join us on the 11th at Lloyd Center I'd be glad to fill you in on what happened at the meeting on the 10th!
I had the same problem back in the day so I try and make sure everyone knows what's been happening.
-
Food Court. I usually try and get tables near a railing so we have a view.
-
Heh heh, I gave all thi in a different thread on the General Board. It's OK.
Sunday the 11th at 11am in the Lloyd Center food court.
We should be pretty easy to spot.

Ok. If you see some kid waring a camera around his neck and looking lost... that would probably be me...
and the mustache, don't forget he will be the kid wearing a mustache (even if I have to send one up with tom)
