A couple of my friends and I are interested in going to Kumoricon this year. I'm just wondering how big of a con it is.. or how many people registered last year? Just want to know what to expect. Thanks.

If I remember right, someone mentioned to me that it was about 200 people large last year.
I expect it to be bigger this year, but MUCH smaller than Sakura Con.

Thanks alot. I've been to a few cons, but mostly over on the East coast. Namely, Katsucon and Otakon. Otakon is huge, but not as big as Anime Expo it seems... funny, how I live near Tacoma and I've never been to Sakuracon.. hmm... ANyways, thanks for the info.

Sakuracon is fun! ^^ It's in seattle, I went last year and bakazoku was funny xD Anyways It's okay that kumoricon may be small because then we all will know everyone easier, but it's up to us to make it more popular!

Last year we had little over 400 people there. I know we had over 400 because we had enough book thingys and swag bags for 400 and had to desperately make more because we ran out.
This year we at least have 200 prereged, with another week or so to go, and we had planned on around 300 I think** And the original hope was to at least double the previous year's number. Not sure how acurate that is now, but it's a bit of an idea at least.

After the amount of people crowded in at Sakuracon, I'm looking forward to Kumoricon. I'm bringing someone new the convention scene and I think this would be a good experience for him.
