hi everyone! well i'm kinda new to this site, but not new to the kumoricon! 05 was my first year and, of corse, AFTER the con i noticed this here!
*sweatdrop* yes i'm slow like that. but i got this account for 3 reasons!
1) this year i dressed up as sally from the nightmare before christmas and i was cheaking out the different pictures and it looks like there are NO pictures of me! this makes me sad........ because there is a picture of my aunt, but not me! XI so i was gonna ask if anyone had a picture of me as sally.....that would be great!
2) i'm looking for someone i kinda met @ the con.....he was dressed as a pirate all 3 days and when i was dressed as sally sunday i was cheaking out his outfit, and saw me, and winked at me :oops: hahaha, right? well next day i didn't dress up and i finally got my camera and asked if i could have his picture and he said yea so i did and afterwards he asked if i wanted a hug..........weird right? cuz i thought people glomped people that were dressed up.......not the other way around! well i agreed and i huged him.....teehee.......and i want to ask him if he was really hitting on me or not.....just a simple question!!
3) this is probably the most important reason. last 2 years i've gone i've noticed people have a group of friends and....last year i was just my my lonesome :cry: then this year i went with ONE person and her mom. and i was wondering how you meet so many people! so........i just wanna be friends! :D yea i know, it sounds kinda mushy, but it's the truth!

to make friends, at an anime convention, you have but to walk up and introduce yourself. or hang out with a few yojimbo (security) people always seem to gravitate around us LOL

Or hang out on this forum and get to know some folks. You can try to make the monthly meetings ware forum members show up. And check the events thread for Japan related things going on that Anime fans might be going to, often there is a K-Con booth or group get together. If you say ware your from others in your town may try to get together. I did not really know any one who was going to the con, other than a few I barely recognized from going to an anime club years ago, none of my real world friends want to watch anime in a group or go to events. When I went to the con I met many people I sort of knew on line although they were all supposed to bring there aunts and older sisters or cousins, but no one did you.

Married ewwwwww and a Mom ewwwww that puts her out of the running. I only say aunt, single nerdy aunts because compared to most of the forum only there aunts would be my age. and I was trying to get a friend from HS to go with her niece now that I find out she secretly wanted to get into fantacy, games and fandom but kept it hidden untill years later. We shall refer to her as the Alpha Aunt

I did not get his name, I gave him my bussiness card after he wanted to touch my jerkin (A leather pirate vest thingy) and he might want to get a sword belt. Hmm I played in the mech game with some one from Medford but he was not a pirate, mech medford is sposed to e-mail me about rpg players in eugene maybe they were in the same car.

Only if it concerns nerdy ladies as i'm a nerd. Otherwise if that were true why do i turn down offers from ladies who I find are not pretty enough on the inside or do not have enough imagination for me to have anything to do with, and of course the ones who are to young or to crazy.
