There was a certain song played not too far into the first dance that I want, but have no idea what it is called. It was probably the third song played. It was very pop/techno and possibly had something to do with a "journey". It had many lyrics, but I have forgotten them all. ;-; It must be popular, though, because a lot of people cheered when it came on.
Any help is appreciated!! <3

My cousin and I requested Dare by the Gorillaz like 3 times, and I was one of the first up there to request it...and they NEVER PLAYED IT. D:
I don't see why they wouldn't have it though, everyone has to have The Gorillaz.

I really liked the songs that were played the first night of the dance!! (Katamari YAAAAY!) ^_^ The mix was really great...I don't know the names of a lot of the Japanese songs though. Does anybody remember any from the dance?
That would be helpful too. ^^

The one I'm thinking of was in English. I would think someone would recognize it since so many people started cheering when it came on. (;=_=)
I was only at the dance for about the first half hour. If anyone remembers any of the songs played at the beginning, it'd make me very happy.

are you thinking of cotton eyed joe?
-
Yes!! Thank you so much, Daxe! It's much appreciated!! <3

lol No problem, I love that song myself and was one of the many cheering when it started. ^.^

they did play it, but it was after 12 when all the minors left

I stayed after 12pm and the music was better but I was dissapointed by the fact that it was mostly american music and not anime or Jrock/pop or techno music.

most of my friends and I had to perform our school's version of the cotton eye joe dance in japan so when we all cosplayed as the turks this year, we all danced in unison... good times good times
"who says turks can't dance?" xD
-
"who says turks can't dance?"
Uhhh, Rufus?
Wait, no, Reeve?
Is this a rhetorical? :D

i happen to disagree. i didn't quite like the music as much. not good dancing music in my opinion...then again i left after 30 min cus my ankle was hurting. it would have been stupid of me if i twisted it during the dance

There was one song... I swear I had it, but I can't find it, and I cant remember the name of it for the life of me... It was techno, no singing... Really upbeat and happy, slightly repetative tune. It played at 11ish, and a few other cosplayers and I were like... humming it on the way out of the hotel. Anyone know it?
-
Did anyone see the Reno in the middle of the circle :?:
-
Does anyone know who did the song with the rap in it? It was women and they were rapping. I'd love to get it. Kinda like techno-rap. Thanks!

Kinda off topic... but is it just me, or did the entire dance consist of either a group of people watching two geeks doing b-boy moves, or everybody doing the conga?
The music was awesome, but the environment seemed like a junior high sort of dance...
