Oh, on the subject of "What topics did the panel cover", the Random Panel covered everything except Anime. Well... not exactly true, but anime wasn't a main focus. The topic was more of social interaction with peers. Yeah, something wise like that.
Anyway, have you tried PMing all the people who said, in the earlier posts, they ran the panel?
I dunno, I think there will be many different panel leaders for it this year (is it happens) since.... Well, the first time, most were just volunteers, or random people that just went up.
everyone seems to be forgetting the GREAT song that became our final event, and closing anthem. The entire crowd joined in!Fear not, for Yubi has this covered! I make an effort to stress just how appropriate the ending to the panel was by explaining the song in vivid details.

Definitely the latter. Personally, I wake up the morning after the random panel is a puddle of tears.
I kid. That was by far one of the funnest panels I've been involved with. I will state this here and now, the Random Panel will be at Kumoricon 2008 even if it means that I have to bribe Ops and Programming with unmentionable sums of money. It will happen. This panel is something that cannot be explained but must continue.
Does anyone know how much the Random Panel's Bigger or Better bundle went for?

The random panel of doom was very entertaining indeed. I was walking past when I probably heard the words "hey you, chocobo, or chicken" and I walked in. Then preceded to do the chicken dance. I never even knew of the dance before then and I was made to do it about 20 times at the con. I was the white chocobo if you didn't catch that. ^.^'

Howdy. This is Kenneth H. (Lupin III). I've received the panel registration form from the director of Programming, but figured it would be best to throw ideas around before I go about filling it out.
I have a few thoughts on the future of the Random Panel. The first deals with the execution of the panel. I think that we've gone past Random and into Tradition (thankfully names are tradition). It was random and out of the blue the first year to have a Pope and a Pirate play Rock Paper Scissor, but now it would not be so. Instead, it is more tradition to have a Pope and a Pirate play RPS. I figure it will be best if we go for more tradition instead of random.
Which brings about my second thought; the writing of a Random Panel charter (constitution, code, what have you). In said document, the workings and the traditions of the Random Panel would be written down for future use. We could use this charter to establish a method to the madness of the Random panel
(for example, making it Random panel law that all disputes are solved through RPS and that Jake's
shoes are not to be taken).
In order to write this proposed document, I propose having two Random panels. The first, a more serious (this idea made me chuckle, a more serious Random panel would just mean less distance glomping) Random Panel would be held about an hour prior to the real panel. I figure that this panel would only need to be about 1 1/2 hours long. We'd get everyones' (meaning, anyone who showed up) input on the document. Then we would have the usual Random Panel after a break.
Minor small thoughts to chew on: shorter panel length (3 hours, but this would be after the first 1 1/2 hours)
Random Panel of Doom Room - "I went to KumoriCon, and they had a room like this, where they basically did whatever they wanted [within reason...], and had little contests and games and basically had fun, making stuff up as they went. It was great, my friend's shoe got stolen and was missing for 3 hours until I found it!"

From what Marisa's voice mail told me, they made a killing for Sakuracon's charity event through a game of Bigger or Better (about $400 from what I heard, which is a lot more than we made for charity at Kumoricon last year). Man, they deserve a hug from the Pope and me!

I hope that the the fith honorary panel member was me (aka the pirate) cause I was sitting up there for a very long time. Of course, now that I recal, the reason I went in there in the first place was because I saw the contorsionest (dont know how to spell it) and after that, I was called upon to do an epic battle of rock, paper, sizzors (dont know how its spelled). shortly after the battle, I was invited to sit next to Sakura (Rissa), and I sat there till the end of the panel.*glomp* HI PIRATE MAN

WOAH!! Are you serious? It's because they had their "Goddess" there... wasn't it? XD And yes... The Jew made it AWESOME!! I do find it rather odd though from that one that I was being asked where my Turk Cosplay was. >//>;; But yes, as I was there, the one up at Sakura was a true Random planel... AND NO SHOES WHERE LOST IN THE MAKING OF IT! **Bounus!**
