Title: Easy Cosplay Costume???

Hello,
im going to be going to this convention (i beleive i posted earlier but i cant find the thread) so this would be my very first convention... and i need some help... im not sure who to dress up as... does any body know of any easy costumes to create?

oh and i should mention that im female... and curently thinking of going as Nausicaa who fits most of the parameters for what im willing to actually wear...

A female costume that's easy to make huh?  Well let's see here... There's Nami from "One Piece"; Any school girl in casual wear; and what about the girl from FLCL (I'm seriously spacing out on her name >_<... the one that keeps hitting on the main guy).

Her name's Mamimi.  That's not necessarily a good starter costume, though, since the skirt is *crazy* short.  Work up to the more revealing stuff.  ^_^

I hate to say it, but if you've ever watched Nausica, you would soon realize that she doesn't wear any pants beneath that jacket-skirt thing. >.<

I'd suggest anything with straight lines...liek a kimono ro something.  Things get complicated when you have to start using darts up the wazoo.  Trust me! O_O My kei from dirty pair flash costume and my roomates Yuri costuem were insanely difficult and tedious.

Probably the easiest costume that can be commonly recognized is Kasumi Tendo. Any simple dress with an apron, and swung your ponytail over one shoulder.

i saw an ed at kumoricon. The wig was great, but a little too orange imo.

lucky me i wouldent need a wig

you could go as generic backround man as seen in many animes dont think many people would get the costume though :P

i noticed alot of those eds didnt wear shoes...

ranma would be easy
most uniformed ones would be easy to

or jet from cowboy bebob except for the arm but you could probly just paint your arm
