Title: Bring ID?
Post by: shikyo on August 23, 2006, 06:52:20 pm
When we go to get our badges Friday, do we need to bring our ID? My highschool doesn't release our ID's till the first day of school and my school starts on Tuesday after the Con is done. Do I just bring my old one from last year? I'll be a JR this year.

Yes, we need ID to prove who we are when getting our badges, Friday or any other day.
Using last years is fine. I've done that before, cause my Highschool does the same thing.

Oh that's good. But my picture from last year looks NOTHING like me this year. I had long blonde hair and now I have my hair cut and hair Blue and black like Toshiya's. Will they still accept? I don't wish to drive so I don't have a drivers liscenes.

I'm sure we'll figure it out.

If your parents will be there, they can vouch for you. ;)

Also please try to carry some ID on you at all times, we have a few panels this year that require you to be 18 and have ID

Will an expired learner's permit work? (I haven't had a chance to renew my permit. Yes, I don't have a license yet.)

What If you are say 16, and your guardian is with you who's 18 or older and doesnt care if you see it or not.

That's great! ^_^

I'm the same way with my mom about yaoi. She could care less. Since I'm a year a way from being 18, I have to have my mom buy my yaoi so it's all good. ^_^  8)

Ok so the only ID I have is this card from last year, it's not a school ID card so to speak. But it's a card from my school that has a picture and my name on it. is this good enough?

18+ means 18+ only. I'm running one of these panels, and would not feel comfortable with anyone under 18 attending, even if they have permission. Sorry. :(

Actually, as far as I know, she has to do it herself so you wouldn't even be able to do it.

Unless that's changed, but I believe that's still how it is.
